Solid Rosewood Border Engraving Handcarved Cremation Urn - Medium, Wooden Urn

The box would have gotten a higher rating but the engraving is not crisp or clean and looks kind of crude and sloppy- I was expecting something more. In addition, a chunk from an engraved area actually stuck into my finger and pulled off the box (like a big sliver) as I ran my hand over it.The bottom slider looks like particle board (with a nice finish) which does not bother me but it may some.Strangely, the low areas in the engraved area also look like chipboard. I don't know if the engraving process is bad or what, but the 'sliver' I got was like a piece of chipboard that flaked off. That is odd because the unengraved portions of the box appear to be solid wood with a pretty grain.It is fine, and from a distance looks decent. I have not decided to keep/use it yet because I don't know if the quality level will make me feel guilty for having put a loved ones remains in it, or in time I won't think about it.

Really like this box for our furbaby's ashes. Very nice wood and dark. The only complaint is there are a couple spots that look like they need a little more chiseling. But overall, very pleased.

This was exactly what I was looking for. I bought a larger size than I needed so that I would be able to fit my dog's collar and fur sample along with his ashes. The box is lovely, and the sliding access door on the bottom works well. The excellent packaging ensured that it was delivered in beautiful condition.

Well-made, quick shipment, satisfied...one improvement would be to provide a small screw to keep the back in place when closed.
