I put them on my ATV and I will buy more of them to fit my 04 Jeep Cherokee.

I have installed two of these on and in my horse trailer so I can tack and untack my horse and find stuff in my tack room when it is dark out and without running down the truck's battery. Until a few days ago I didn't know if they would illuminate their surroundings well, but now I'm back from a long camping trip with my horse and these are my updated thoughts: By the way, I have ordered two more of these lamps for the cargo (horse) compartment of my trailer.Brightness means nothing, even tiny LED lamps are "bright." What is really important is the amount of light a lamp puts out (candle power or lumens) and how well a lamp illuminates the area in question. I can now say that these lamps met and exceeded my expectations with regard to illumination at what I guess is about 50 candle power. The color is almost a "daylight" without all that objectionable blue in it and that means that together with the large number of candles the lamps put out, every detail stood out very well illuminated. I think I'd prefer a "warm white" light in a living compartment, but for tacking and grooming my horse by the outside light and finding my way around in my tack compartment with the inside light, the colors were true and everything stood out in perfect detail. In other words, the lamps' candle power and color output optimized my visual acuity.The second thing one must consider when choosing lamps is how many amps will they require? These lamps draw a small fraction of the amps the original incandescent lamps did and so I can leave the lights on much longer when the truck's engine isn't running. Finally, and perhaps the most important thing, is how rugged are the lamps and will they hold up to the rigors and vibrations of the road? The jury is still out on this and so I will carry my old bulbs as a back-up, but after 600 miles of sometimes unpaved roads, so far so good.There is one thing, the LED elements are exposed on the outside of the lamps and are subject to damage if squeezed or rotated with too much force. They are not enclosed in a glass bulb, probably for cooling purposes (running cool will extend their life) and so wise up and handle them intelligently when installing them. So far they have more than earned the five stars.

These work great and for a good price! Just put them in on our 2012 VW Jetta SE. I will give an update if there seem to be any issues. So far so good.UPDATE: Bought these in November and they burned out by February. You need to make sure that you install resistors if your car does not recognize them as LED lights. I purchased new LUYED bulbs at a higher Lumen and I will install the resistors and give an update.

These are amazingly bright lamps. The light is very white and throws a good amout of it. Not that some of the light projects from the front, but most of the light comes from the LEDs around the sides; that throws much of the light into the surrounding reflector on the headlight assembly of my riding mower, and that in turn makes for a strong illumination. The reason I took off one star is that the positioning nubs on the sides must be slightly higher than the standard 1156 lamps, so I had a hard time installing them into the sockets. I used some fine sand paper on the connecting button on the end to slightly reduce the overall length. I made a few strokes with the sandpaper, tested to see if it would fit the socket, then a few more strokes; that way I only took off the bear minimum material. I do not know if the material is led-based solder, but I took appropriate precautions. I would not recommend this procedure to every one, but I found it helped for my application.

Replaced all of my interior lights with LEDs. These were a perfect fit for my Jeep Cherokee XJ floor wells. Super bright and will not be hot like traditional bulbs.

Finally an 1156 LED bulb that fits and works as it should. most LEDs I found don't fit in the socket my motorcycle has the base of the led element would hit the socket not allowing it to go far enough in to latch, but these worked like a charm and are nice and bright they make excellent tag lights.

This fit my John Deere X350. They are much brighter than the OEM. The cost was much better then many I looked at. I have ordered from this company several times in the past and have been happy with the lights that I got for my car. I will order from them again. I haven't had any issues,so I can't speak on customer service,but it's prime!

Arrived quickly. Bought to use on my lawn mower to replace incandescent headlights. Fit just fine and first time I used them the light was good. 1st time using they were on maybe 15 minutes while I finished mowing. Last night I had to finish in the dark again and they failed almost immediately. One literally melted in half.Now I will be willing to accept some blame on the failure. One, I doubt my mower maintains a good 12V feed but I would expect these lights to be able to handle a +/- 2.5V range given their intended use in automobiles would potentially face same conditions. Second, inside the hood of the mower is really hot. Maybe too hot for these but again, intended use is automotive so I would expect to be able to handle high heat.So overall when they worked they did what I wanted. I am just a little disappointed that they couldn't handle the conditions.
