Gear Shift Boot, Black Neoprene, Fits Most Shifters, Compatible with Dune Buggy

I was trying to locate a replacement boot for my 1956 Ford Thunderbird 3-speed stick shift. It's located on the floor tunnel. Most of the boots I saw were oversized and quite pricey. This boot appeared to be smaller + it was one of the least expensive. Quick delivery. It fits very snugly on the stick shift rod - just what I wanted - no movement up or down. The base of the boot was a little small and circular while the opening on the T-Bird tunnel is rectangular. I'm very pleased with the fit on the stick shift rod. The result is that the boot remains in place on the shifter. I'll decide later if I want to modify how the boot base fits on tunnel opening but for now, it's a huge improvement. So glad I found it.

I always appreciate these parts when they are shown with dimensions, just makes good sense.

Simple and works as described

My factory gearshift boot (cover) had split and cracked and was falling apart. Thought I would buy this one as it looked very similar. It was a perfect fit of my 2007 Linhai Bighorn UTV (side by side). I just unscrewed the shifter knob, slipped this one over the shifter shaft, and threaded the knob back on. Doesn't get much easier than that and this will keep all the grass and dirt out of the shiftter unit. Nice.

Good quality shift boot for my VW Buggy.

The other thing that made it 4 stars is the rubber mold seam is very prominent. For a nice looking installation, I would have preferred seamless.
