My 6 year old needed a lab coat for virtual school. His teacher thought the kids would really enjoy a weekly science experiment where they all get to be scientists, and boy was she right. I grabbed this set because it was only a couple dollars more than just getting a lab coat. So happy with this set!!! My son loves it!!!! The lab coat feels like cheap fabric but seems durable enough. It is a little big on my 6 year old but works great and he won’t out grow it anytime soon. He loves all the science equipment and it makes him feel like he is doing some serious lab work. He sat the first day it came and played with it for over an hour doing nothing more than mixing colored water together. Even my 12 year old joined in and mixed colors for way longer than I thought possible. Anything that can distract them for video games for that long is worth every penny! The glasses and name tags are adorable as well, he wears them every week for his science lesson. My kids have always been into science kits but I love that this one is simple and you can use it for whatever they can imagine up. No specific instructions were I have to sit there and basically do the experiment for them to be safe, like growing crystals. I just let my little guy mix whatever he wants that is safe and although cleaning up flour and water is no walk in the park it sure does keep him busy. Would buy again without hesitation and may keep it in mind for future gift giving.

My daughter absolutely loves science. When I saw these I knew I had to get them for her. We were using glass beakers and test tubes and they’re so thin they keep breaking on us. So when I saw these I knew I had to get them for her. The plastic is sturdy and it’s so fun to see her work like a little scientist. I’m a firm believer in making learning fun and this helps her enjoy learning. I’m so happy with my purchase.

I got this for my 5-year-old niece who loves playing scientist. It had a lot of pieces and she was very happy with it. The only thing I disliked was that the goggles were too big for her and kept falling off, but that’s not a fault on the set. She’ll grow into them and still loved her gift.

I totally recommend this product arrived on time and the quality is more than I expect. the lab coat run a little big for my 6 year old but it didn't stop him from having a lot of fun

Out of the box, the lab coat felt stiff and had the folding creases in it. I washed it in cold water, delicate cycle, in the washing machine with a bit of detergent, and hung it up to dry, as I didn't want to chance it shrinking! Now the fabric is much softer, very wearable, NO wrinkles--yay! My 4th grade daughter is 57 in., 80 pounds, and the coat still has growing room for about a year. She just made slime with science supplies from the kit--measuring spoons, beakers...so cute and realistic! There are no experiments that come with this kit, but she will use it with other experiment books we have, without using my kitchen items. You can definitely use the lab coat for costume parties, for extra usability!

I ended up ordering this kit because we had lost the funnels, eyedroppers and a couple of beakers from a previous one. This had so much more than I was expecting! Love all the test tubes, beakers, tweezers, eyedroppers, safety glasses, Dr Coat, and name tag (we used our vinyl cutter and put my grandsons name on it, plus added a picture). There are more items, I just can't think of what else. My grandson is 6 years old and plays with it continuously after school. Lot of "poison" is made with water, oil, vinegar and food coloring. :-) Get it, you won't be disappointed.

Seems to have a lot of good experimenting supplies, maybe on the cheap side, but disappointed there is no booklet with any suggested experiments.

Purchased for scientists dressup at school, we look forward to Science time at home. We've done a mock-up volcano, and rainbow rain with oil, food coloring and water. The kids, 5 and 2, were super excited to watch the volcano; done in tall standing tube. They have enjoyed playing in the bath with some of the beakers and such. Highly recommended for 5+ as my little one wanted to do all the measuring and mixing himself.
