Easy to apply mink oil for boot preservation. Much easier to use than waxy solid mink oil with excellent results. Darkens leather like all mink oil, great for boots if you don't mind them a bit darker. Softens and helps water proofs leather. Used to restore my old Dexter hiking boots after resole.

Great product. May not be the great smelling oil. But it does EXACTLY whats needed. Conditions and helps nourish the leather as you break it in.

Bought this to try to reduce the ugly wear areas on my leather chair, which it did pretty well, it looks and feels a lot better than it did originally. Only con that I've noticed: it smells kind of yucky. If using for outdoor things, or boots/gear, it wouldn't be too bad, but not a pleasant smell to lounge on.

Mink oil's always been great, especially for boots.The paste doesn't do much.The liquid is where it's at penetrates.Through the leather, a lot faster and waterproofs and makes them last longer.If it wasn't for mink oil, my last pair of boots wouldn't have lasted eight years.

Very easy to use

Seems to work great I put on heavy on a really dried out coat and rubbed it in a little and put in a plastic bag overnight and the jacket was very soft and flexible and restored .I have bought more and used it on several other leather coats and it works awesome. I have never used anything on my coats before and they desperately needed it. They look and feel like new or better and not stiff or any smell and are not oily after being in a plastic bag overnight. I will definitely buy more and use it after winter to store my coats for summer

The Fiebing's Liquid Mink Oil for Leather Boots (8 fl oz) - Leather Cleaner & Conditioner was purchased during May of 2021 for $8.60 plus tax. It is now available for $8.97 plus tax (December 2, 2024). An excellent shoe repair person I have employed for over 30 years told me that this product should be used sparingly approximately once a year. I made the mistake of using it on a mid tan pair of men's leather chukka boots after each wearing for 3 times. One of the shoes began to darken slightly. So, one must be very careful using this product. Nonetheless, when used properly, this product will definitely condition, preserve, and protect fine leather products. Although, originally, I only used this product on shoes and boots, subsequently, I've used it on belts, wallets, and watch bands with excellent results. It's important to note that this product is to be used along with polishes of any type...not instead of using those products. I will always continue to use this product along with my usual leather product maintenance regimen. An excellent, must have for those who enjoy keeping their leather shoes and such in the best condition possible...so that they will last...especially if one purchases quality leather products.
