Josh did a wonderful job with this book that will resonate with all ages and faith experiences across the Christian Church. His woven in stories of his journey alongside scripture and examples truly help unpack not only the differences in the fruit of the spirit, but also how we can see the fruit mature in our own lives. A chapter on each of the 9 fruits is very beneficial and the chapter on Fruit of the Spirit vs 7 The Deadly sins is a gem to wrap it all together. Well worth the read, and likely not just a one time read either, it's worthy of an annual read. Thanks Josh!

Josh has a wonderfully open and real style that is easy to read yet touching. His path to a life worth living underscores the importance of being transparent, vulnerable and authentic in experiencing the fruits of the spirit. This resonated with me. A great read for those looking to find their spiritual path in these chaotic times.

It is rare to find a book that is accessible to anyone no matter where they are in their faith journey yet is practical and challenging at the same time. This book checked all the boxes! Joshua gives insightful real-life examples, stories, and antidotes that encourage and motivate the reader to dive deeper into a personal relationship with Christ. At the same time, he shares what it really means to evangelize and journey with others using the fruits of the Spirit as our guideposts.Every chapter ends with thought-provoking questions that are great for group study or personal reflection.I highly recommend this book and look forward to sharing it with others!

Joshua’s diverse background and experience offers a fresh and approachable guidebook for growing in the Fruits of the Holy Spirit. Filled with personal examples of faith (and humor), he gives a living testament to the transforming power of the Fruits of the Spirit and their role in evangelization.As Joshua references in the first chapter, so often evangelization efforts stop short with the “three E’s” (Events, Experts, and Explanations). While these are starting points, his book guides the reader through the essential fourth “E,”…Encounter. It is only through an authentic and personal encounter with Jesus, and with others in community, that the work of evangelization bears its most fruit.I recommend this book to anyone growing as a disciple of Jesus Christ. It is especially helpful for individuals and groups who have completed an Alpha Course and are striving for a deepening faith and witness to others.

I took for granted many of the fruits, thinking there wasn't more to learn. However, Josh opened my eyes especially regarding goodness, faithfulness and gentleness. Josh's personal stories and how they helped form his unique insights were interesting and made this book more personal read than yet another theological treatise on the Holy Spirit. Highly recommend for all who want to live in the Spirit!
