It has 3 uses!
This barlow has 3 uses!1. You can put an eyepiece in it to magnify its power.2. You can unscrew the lens at the bottom and use it on another eyepiece or Tring adapter.3. You can slide a low profile eyepiece into the top and put into a DSLR if you have clearance. Though, it does create a vignette.

The only drawback is the absence of an M28x0.6 thread for attaching a filter.
Appreciate the T-thread for direct camera attachment, but puzzled as to why it lacks an M28x0.6 thread for attaching a filter. It seems essential for astrophotography, as who would want to take astrophotographs without at least one filter?

It works great!
No lens artifacts, is pretty light and the lens can unscrew giving me 1.5x. Very useful
