Still perfect after 9 years
This is my second set of these stairs. I have another set that after 9 years still looks and feels perfectly new. My arthritic senior cat uses it all the time without struggle. It is made of a lightweight foam that is so durable that I can actually sit on it and it doesn't collapse (though the cat looks at me curiously). These are so well designed that if I accidentally trip on them in the middle of the night I don't get hurt. It is just like bumping into a pillow. No plastic, metal or wood.I needed another set of stairs for a different location and there was no question about which to buy. I went straight for these again.Pay a few dollars more and receive a lot more satisfaction.

Perfect for our needs
This stair is perfect to set alongside the foot of our bed. We have an old kitty who has become somewhat stiff and didn't always make the jump onto our tall bed. I showed her how to use this stair once and she uses it all the time now...doesn't even attempt to jump up onto the bed. We are very pleased. Our younger cat will sometimes run up it also but still jumps from time to time. This stair is perfect for our bed height ... it is 30" from the floor to the top of the mattress. The distance from the top step to the top of the bed is aprx. the height of one more step. It is perfect.

Very sturdy!! Easy to clean!
My dog absolutely LOVES these stairs. He has a bad hip and a large capacity for independence that surpasses his body's capabilities. He loves the stairs because he has freedom to move on his own. And I've accidentally stepped on the bottom step a couple times and there's NO damage (I am around 200lbs). When it needed to be washed we unzipped it and put it in the washing machine with no issues whatsoever!!!

Good product
We had a set of plastic steps of three that were deeper and served our dog well until he got old and his arthritis worse. The 5 steps are not nearly as deep as the old ones and they are foam and support him well although they give Wiggles (beagle) the flexibility he needs so his joints are not met with resistance as he goes up and down.He no longer requires us to help him get up and down his steps as he did his old set. He can do it by himself!! Highly recommend them. Wiggles will be 11 yrs. old this summer.

Pay more and get the best!
These steps are beautiful and came to the very top of my bed, so it's easy for my puppy to get up on the bed. It came as one piece in a very large box which was impressive. There isn't anything that I don't like about this. Yes, it costs a little bit more, but it's worth it. My puppy won't let me put even one foot on it without attacking me. It belongs to her and she is letting me know.

Game-changer for aging (or overweight) pets
I recently bought these foam pet stairs for my chonker of a feline, who has been struggling to hop up onto the bed. And I gotta say, these stairs have been a total game-changer!First off, they're super lightweight, so I don't have to pull a muscle every time I need to move them. Plus, my cat took to them with ease - she's been scampering up and down them with ease, and it's been a joy to watch rather than see her struggle to get up and down.I also appreciate the fact that you can adjust the orientation of the stairs to make them taller, but be warned - when orienting them in the "tall direction", they can get a little steep. I may or may not have tried to climb them myself just to test it out (spoiler alert: not my finest moment). All in all, these stairs have been a purrfect addition to our home, and I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking to give their furry friend a little boost. Meow's the time to upgrade your pet's life - go for it!

Works well for our short leg dogs
It took a few for our corgi to start using them but now he lives having them. He was struggling to get on the bed when our previous stairs broke. Now he doesn't have to risk getting hurt to get up on the bed.

Lightweight but durable
Great steps for my 17lb dog to reach the bed. He started a habit of jumping off of it in the mornings and I was worried for his joints. He took to these stairs instantly and now he has an easy way to get on and off the bed!

Best item for a very tall bed
The media could not be loaded. So happy. We have a very tall bed as you can see from the video. And a small toy dog. We tried buying wood stairs and they were big and clumsy. I decided to wing it and order this because of the reviews. I chose the brown with the white octagon sides because of our decor. It did take a bit to receive as its coming from the states. Not slug slow but not not within a week like i normally get my packages. But it was worth the wait. When we opened it we were thrilled on how light it was! No need to be a weight lifter for this. We could easily carry it wherever it needed to go. For us it was going to be upstairs. The video shows after I let him try it a couple times. I think we had the advantage because we have a small set of stairs that goes to a couch downstairs. So he already understood that stairs are safe and they make you go up higher. What I did was i went on the bed and leaned over and took a toy he liked and moved it up the stairs. I also carried him up and down the stairs and kinda let him walk on his own so he could get the feel of it. He took to it quite quickly. Hes using it all the time now. For reference we have a 5 pound 5 month puppy. There is a cover for it so it looks like it’s gonna be easy wash too. It’s the type of foam in my opinion can easily hold a heavy dog. Look at the size of our dog and then compare yours. That should help for reference for width. Fact is today most people are in beds higher than a couple feet. so finding stairs long enough is a needle in a haystack. Either way, I am grateful for Amazon because if I ordered this anywhere else it would’ve cost me a bundle. We Are very happy with it and so is Benji.

Worth the Price! Lovely Set of Stairs for Corgi
I somehow ended up reading the story of a dog on the BCSPCA website who had broken his leg, and needed donations to help cover his medical emergency costs.Of course, the first thing I thought of was how my Corgi/Chihuaha (Chigi?) likes to jump off the bed. I was thinking, "That can't be good for his little legs". He can't get up onto the bed, because it's too high. But he does go flying off it when he hears something or wants down off the bed.Anyway - looked at all the stairs on amazon.ca - these were very highly rated and I liked the look of the white (more cream colour) lambswool, because Archie (pup) is a blonde/beige colour and I figured any hair would blend in better. These arrived, and I didn't see them on our front steps until late in the evening. Grabbed them, unwrapped and set them up next to the bed. Encouraged Archie to try them a few times - he was DELIGHTED! Could not believe Mom had bought him his own set of stairs.Next morning, after my shower - I find my husband smiling away in the kitchen, while making coffee. I asked, "What're you smiling about?"My husband was laughing...Turns out Archie loves those stairs and keeps going up and down them, showing off!So - these not only prevent him from jumping off the bed - they are also a fitness gadget :)Beautiful quality - well made, and well worth the price. We're very happy with these stairs. Our doggie loves them too!

I changed my mind about returning it.
Initially my two dogs (17 lbs and 25 lbs) would have nothing to do with it and I really thought I'd have to return it. No amount of luring them up those steps with treats would work. Really the 5-steps seem very steep and the treads are narrow (less than 6"). However the problem was resolved by putting a throw I had over the steps and now they run up and down to the bed with no fear. So glad I didn't have to lug that huge box back to the shipper!!The stairs are sturdy, well made and very light for carrying.

Good for bichon frise
Everything as expected, great for my 25lb bichon to get up on my 27" high bed.The only thing to note is that because the material is foam, I believe it creates the sensation of "walking on sand" - he seems to labour up on it a bit because of how it sinks in. The foam is pretty dense and solid, but still softer than plastic. Just something to keep in mind
