I gave this book as a gift to our pastors wife when they were leaving and she absolutely loved it!

I love this book, simple recipes, a very good story behind it. I gave several as gifts and everyone loves them.

A friend gave this book to me. I live near Grove, OK. I loved it so much, I ordered two from Amazon, and had the books shipped to my sister and niece that live in Charlotte, NC.

I love this cookbook devotional combo. First, the pictures are so beautiful! The recipes are simple and tangible for the more experienced cook to someone who is happy to just microwave some soup. The cookbook is organized in such a fun, unique way that encourages you to gather and be in community. AND gives you gathering ideas! Tailgate Food, Brunch, Bible study, etc. So fun! I love this. I love Abby's heart. And I love that the Bible is the root that runs through it all.

I just got The Living Table in the mail today, I am have already read most of the first several chapters. I love it!!! Abby is relatable and also balances humor and fun with truth. I already felt several heart “challenges” to move towards hospitality without the expectation to be perfect. God will shine through if we allow him the stage. Get yourself a copy of this book, and maybe order an extra for a happy to be shared with a friend. You will both be blessed!

This is so much more than a cookbook! It’s not only inspirational from the devotion standpoint, when you read through the recipes - you are inspired to think “I can do this!” Ingredients are all simple. Her deas are easy, fun and the tips on making things look great and the hacks on “how to do it quicker” are great! I’ve given several to friends who have all them told me they’ve bought it for others.

I pre-ordered this book in March. Couldn't wait! Arrived this am. I shoved it in my handbag and took to work (I didn't have time to look at it). Pulled it out at lunch. My co-workers and I were amazed. A cookbook with recipes I can easily make. We poured over this book. Recipes for every occasion. Beautiful pictures. Everyone wanted a copy of at least one recipe! A must buy!!!!

I have been having people in my home for years now, but always felt so much stress and pressure for everything to be perfect, that I missed the pure enjoyment of the relationships! What a blessing this book is - easy, delicious recipes - and words of encouragement to just "enjoy the people" that the Lord brings to your table!!

I LOVE this hardcover book. Abby includes an introduction that combines personal stories and scripture. The recipes include ingredients that you have at home, easy to find or easy to substitute. The images make each recipe enticing. And Abby's words of wisdom with each page make each experience a teachable moment.AND if you are curious which recipes to host together, Abby has created a table of contents that combines recipes into categories (example Game Night / Book Club / Girls Night IN / Unexpected Guests / Hallmark Christmas Movie Party, ETC!!).This book is a great gift for someone in your church, volunteer group AND of course for yourself.
