Good Stiff Boot . Just the way it needs to be !
I like a well-made boot and will pay a little extra to get it . The Asolo meets my expectations. Please do not change your quality.

My Second Pair
This is my second pair of Asolo Fugitive boots. My previous pair lasted over five years. I particularly like the sole of these boots. The rubber tread layer is a quarter of an inch thick and only wore through to the soft foam layer after five years of everyday wear. I also like the toe cap. Heavy duty and good quality, reminiscent of rock climbing shoes and not just there for looks. The suede and synthetic materials are also of a high industrial quality. The interior of the boot is well appointed with soft but sturdy neoprene at the top. I normally wear a size 9 1/2 but I needed a size 10 Fugitive GTX, so they seem to run a little small. Break in was very quick, just a few days of mild stiffness and very minor spots of irritation that disappeared after the first day of break in. I use these for everyday city wear and light trail hiking.

I prefer these over my loggers
Unfortunately they are wearing faster than they should.

great boot
this is the third pair of the Fugitive GTX's I have owned. First pair was purchased for me as a gift. loved them so much, i have bought 2 pairs since. I wear them almost everyday in some way. i fish 100+ days a year, so these are my go to boots for life on the river when I am not in wadding boots. 3 pairs may make it seem like they wear out, however I do wear probably 300+ days a year.

Awsome!
These boots are excellent! Initially I was concerned about the fit of the foot bed. Two days of break in wearing on normal days and the fit.like a glove. Outstanding foot wear!
