Genuine game changer for larger houses needing good WiFi
I only recently read about mesh WiFi, like many we had a good quality router which was fine when you were in range but we had patchy coverage at best in the extremities of the house. We had tried range extenders/repeaters which were hopeless. This system is a revelation, we now have excellent coverage throughout the house and beyond with no drop off in speed. Devices move seamlessly from access point to the next and set up is so easy via the app, you literally just enter your ISP login details and that's it. Just to clarify there is no point keeping your existing router (assuming you have a separate modem) and turning its WiFi off, just plug the main unit into your white BT openworld modem or equivalent and you're away. As I was slightly skeptical we bought these refurbed units as they were the cheapest I could find. I wouldn't have batted an eyelid if they had been sent as new, well packaged and work perfectly. Why didn't i buy a mesh system before now!

Deco Home mesh E4 (3 units) Easy to set up, took me less than 15 minutes
My Sky" router has always given poor WiFi coverage to the first floor "office" even though its only 9 metres away.I tried a range extender, but that didn't improve matters.I have been thinking about a mesh system but the cost has always been a factor until I saw the refurbished units at £73, well under the typical £90 mark for the non reverb ones, and nearly half the cost of the faster M4 units at around £125They where delivered in the original retail box, wrapped in a plastic postal bag.as far as I can see, they look new. :)there is no handbook / instructions in the refurbished unit box and they say that there is only a limited warranty 30 days on psu's and 6 months on units. :(I installed the app on my i-phone before delivery, You have to register and create an account. The box contained:-Three identical units? I think the first one becomes the "master/router",Three uk plug / power units with approximately 150cm of cable,1 ethernet cable 120cm long.I went for the quick and dirty installation, keeping the original router in operation, I believe the proper way is to turn the WiFi part of my sky box off.The 1st E4 was plugged into the ethernet port on my "sky router" and then powered on, it flashes yellow to start with then...From this point the app walks you through installation, once the first unit is running, you simply move on to the next one as prompted.I was up and running in less than 15 minuets.my normal sky WiFi speed test is around 18 Mbps / 7.5 Mbps in the poor reception areas upstairsusing the E4 its now 28 Mbps / 9 MbpsThe first unit is hidden behind a tv screen a few feet from the sky router,The second units is siting next to my printer / computer / monitor about 9 metres away from the first! The third unit is sat on bedside cabinet next to convenient wall socket, its possible to turn (all) the lights off using the app. if its to bright or have it controlled by times say off at 22:00 on at 06:00Non of the locations are ideal but the coverage appears to be betterThe units network ports are are limited to 100Mbps, my fastest network speed is only 38 Mbps so that's ok for now.

Worked after some modifying
I took a risk and bought a reconditioned set. They didn't work at first and had to be reset then they worked. I would have expected them to be reset during reconditioning.

Great for a large stone house
They just work really well. And a good app helps you see the status of the system

Devices not tested
One of the three units would not connect and I am still waiting for Amazon to respond to my request for a replacement/refund

My wifi has never been so good
We've struggled for decent wifi in the house despite having the best virgin hub. These extenders have allowed us to have full strength wifi all around the house and good wifi in the garden. Easy to set up.

Love it.
Love it. Easy to set up and works perfectly. Previously, I could not use the study due to an intermittent wifi signal, even with top-of-the-range wifi range extenders. My work laptop would disconnect from the VPN. Now I can connect it via an ethernet cable to the access point and have perfect connection and speeds throughout. I can walk into each room of the house and have no issues with an internet connection. Extremely happy that I spent the extra on the tri-band system.

Most Features Rarely Work
The WiFi is reliable and was relatively easy to set up.All the other features would be good if they worked. There is a button to turn off 5G. It doesn’t work. I contacted tech support, who very kindly sent me a link to a diagram showing which button to turn off. After a very long and frustrating conversation I managed to explain that the button wasn’t working. The guest WiFi button doesn’t work either. They all ‘fail to load, try again later’ along with the monthly report and every other feature that isn’t WiFi.If you want to connect a smart device, a 2 minute smart bulb connection could take several days. I live in hope of one day being able to connect my robot vacuum but it’s not looking good. The app itself is really simple and easy to navigate, which is kind of pointless as none of the functions actually work but if they did they would be really easy to use. If you want excellent WiFi with ABSOLUTELY no other features and never want to connect devices or be able to access settings on more than one phone/iPad/pc this is not for you.
