Wilton Black Borders Cupcake Stand

I wish I could say I got a good deal on this stand; it is more of a you get what you pay for thing however. It was a bit awkward to build and folded so the tiers have trouble laying flat. The other thing is the top of the base sticks out which isn’t like the picture. I will need to find something to cover it up because it looks cheesy. I looked at it several times thinking I assembled it wrong but nope, just poorly designed. Glad I only paid $6; it won’t last.

You should note that this picture is very misleading. I was in a hurry to find something inexpensive that could be delivered quickly for the purpose of an outdoor event where I wanted something easy to display my cupcakes. I did not take time to read the reviews. But seriously, it should say in the description of this product that it is made of paper. It is pretty flimsy paper at that. But after receiving it and being disappointed that this was not some cheap plastic--but actually paper -- I put the thing together. It was not as difficult as others have said --but it tabs that are supposed to hold the cupcake holder in place break off very easily and do not do a good job of holding the tiers in place. But it did serve it's purpose. The cupcakes were displayed. The thing held the 24 cupcakes as stated. I tossed the thing in the trash and did not have to worry about carrying anything back home at the end of the night. But it is a lot more flimsy than the picture indicates and once you set it up-- if you have to move it- you will need to remove all the cupcakes before moving it or risk everything falling off and apart.

I bought 2 of these stands for a Halloween themed baby shower and while they worked well, I wasn’t completely happy with them. The assembly directions were a tad confusing. I had some trouble trying to put the 1st one together but the 2nd one went much faster. I wanted something that I didn’t have to worry about washing when we were done and these were perfect for that. You can’t tell in the pictures, but the actual tiers on the stands were not level and it was not possible to get them completely level. I don’t know that I would buy these again. They served their purpose and worked well considering that they are made of cardboard but I will most like buy plastic or acrylic stands next time.

Maybe it was just my thoughts, but I expect easier to put together. Was not as sturdy as I had hoped either and I'm usually very easy to please and open minded about this kind of product.

I got this for my daughter's Minnie Mouse themed first birthday party. I wanted the Minnie theme to be subtle instead of using licensed party supplies, so I went with a pink polka dot theme. The stand was easy to assemble and fairly sturdy, easily holding the cupcakes I made without wobbling or falling down. The only issue I had was the edging pieces on the bottom two tiers weren't staying put very well, and kept trying to come unfurled since the pieces are stored flat in the packaging, I guess they didn't like being curved around. It held up so well even after the party was over, that I couldn't bring myself to throw it away. I gave it to a friend to us for another occasion.

Too fragile, one move and the whole thing could fall. Also half way thru the party, no one touched the display and it started to buckle in the middle and then leaned downward left for the remaining of the event. It was unfixable. It’s cardboard so I guess you get what you pay for.

Once these were put together, they worked well to hold cupcakes. I wasn't sure they were as sturdy as I had hoped they would be. It was a bit of a challenge to put them together.

If I could have given it a “0”..I would have..absolute waste of money..the cardboard that was used was far to flimsy..the perforated wholes were far too large for the connections..didn’t even attempt to use because of the poor quality..the desserts would’ve fell right off!!

Awful cake stand. Doesn't balance and made of cardboard. DO NOT BUY.

I was disappointed to see it was just some cardboard that you stick together with punctured holes. I found it kind of dumpy looking to be honest when it was all said and done. I wouldn’t purchase this again. Also found it pricey considering it’s literally just a bunch of cardboard.

Chafísima, son unosbpedazos de cartón para ensamblar. No lo recomiendo en absoluto, dinero tirado a la basura.

had to be careful putting it together because it is not the sturdiest but once together it looked great
