Great product, closure at face hole is with velcro which gets caught on blankets or clothes, hangs down into baby's face when partially opened

This keeps my baby nice and warm during the cold. I put him in season appropriate clothes & a hat and carry on. Also it’s water repellent so even the white is easily cleaned. This is the kind of gift you buy because you know the recipient probably wouldn’t think of it. Very pleased with it.

Absolutely love everything about the 7am cocoon. I simply put my baby in the car seat with just her clothing and a warm blanket and she stays warm. But there's nothing in back of her, so she also doesn't get overly sweaty (like in other car seat covers). It's so easy to go out. I don't have to think twice because I don't have to deal with the "bundling up baby" hassle. The only thing I don't like is that I had to take the canopy off my Doona, but I'm still not taking off a star because A) I don't really need a canopy when I have this, baby is covered. B) 7am has other options where the canopy can stay on (the wrap, the Igloo, etc). Bonus: I absolutely LOVE the white with fur. I get so many comments on how nice it looks. Plus it stays clean! Seems the fabric is dirt resistant because I haven't washed it yet and it's still perfectly white (baby is 2.5 months).

Loved the look and feel of the product out of the packaging - which I felt to be quite attractive in itself. The Heather Gray color was such a great match to the black zippers and velcro. I’m using this on a 2019 Uppababy Mesa, which because of the placement of the handles relevant to the actual seat (where the two are attached) there is a small gap on both sides that can allow air in. I knew this walking into the purchase because of another reviewer making mention of it, but continued on with the purchase because this problem would exist with any similar product, as it’s now a flaw of the product, but rather the reality of trying to marry this type of product with the Mesa car seat. I liked the “Y” zipper design which allows the top part to open up and flay our with the bottom remaining on like a blanket on the baby’s lap.

I bought this for my baby who was born in September for the winter. So far it’s been great, but as others commented it may overheat. My baby has had a temperature of around 98.1 for all appointments and when we went to the two month appointment he was at 99.1 - that was a two minute walk to car with this on the seat, unzipped but still on seat for an 8 minute car ride, then one minute zipped into pediatrician. He was removed within a few minutes and was undressed for a few minutes before taking temp. I definitely recommend unzipping once in the car for short trips (taking off seat for longer trips once car heats up) and taking off once inside. It’s very easy to stretch on and off seat. The product itself works great- it is super helpful because you can’t buckle in with a jacket so I know he’s toasty in there even with cold winds and temps (located in New Jersey so it does get cold). If you watch your baby and only use when actually in the cold you should be ok!

Wow I am so happy I got this! Give me the best peace of mind I am keeping my baby warm in Chicago winter with this. I Have a Columbia fleece jacket and fleece beanie and wool socks I put on my baby and zip this all the way up and we have to walk about 3 minutes from daycare to home at 6pm at night when its dark so he stays safe and warm in this during the walk outside. I usually put the stroller cover over also when it is windy. Very easy to put on the car seat, it slips right on and the peek thru whole can allow your baby to see out of it and have proper airflow

Easy to put on and off your car seat. I use this on my Doona stroller and it’s absolutely perfect. I have a newborn and he looks so comfortable and warm. Definitely recommend ☺️

Love this cocoon! I knew I didn’t want to buy winter jacket for my 5 months old baby , just remembering how difficult it was with my other kids to put on and strap them into their infant car seat... I hated winters and taking them anywhere it felt like attempting the impossible .This product just saved us from the same awful experience. I took my baby out a few times and temperatures were varied from minus 5 to minus 25 Celsius, my little one stayed nice and toasty. Very comfortable for the little one and for me too. Side zipper gives me easy access and also great option when temperature is warmer can open up and my baby won’t over heat. Products stay in place all day long, won’t slide off, super secure.The only thing is to keep in mind that this product only goes over the front of the seat so don’t forget to put some extra padding to the back of the seat ( behind baby’s back) or put on baby a light jacket, because the cold air easily gets in there, specially in freezing temperatures.

Not warm enough for canadian winter, this product didnt meet the expectation, once on the car seat it was touching baby because the structure is too loose (the wind goes trought the whole), not as fluffly as the picture and REFUND WAS NOT 100% be aware

This was probably one of the best buys for my daughter born in November. LOVE IT. It is definitely worth the hefty price tag - infant does not need heavy clothes when this is covering them as it keeps them incredibly warm - just a small blanket and long sleeves will do - that's how amazing it works. I had 4 other friends buy it and glad they did.

This bunting is amazing! It keeps our baby warm when we go for walks with her dog in the cold Canadian climate. It is easy to use and fits over my Nuna pipa lite lx car seat. Must have for Canadian winters!

This car seat cover is the “mackage” of covers! It is not only super warm, but looks great, too. I like the three zipper option so you don’t have to take it off entirely, but can avoid overheating baby (very important). I would definitely recommend this cover.
