Best PAR20 I've found so far. Not Perfect
So replacing eight 50W PAR20 halogens with eight Luno 2700K LED PAR20s in kitchen ceiling can lights on a Lutron Diva 3W Dimmer DV-600P . This dimmer is not designed for LED (like the recommended DVCL-153P) so I can't say if the problems I mention below would go away with an LED type dimmer. The bulbs are a smidge cooler and, I think, brighter than the halogens at full on. I would say they look like other hight CRI 2700K LED bulbs which I also find a smidge cooler than incandescent bulbs. I actually have gotten used to 2700K LED lights and prefer them in general. I really do not like 3000K LED bulbs for general living spaces. The bulbs maintain their color as they dim down (as advertised) whereas the halogens go to much warmer. CRI seems acceptable to good. I would rate these bulbs 5 stars for color, CRI, and lumens. I would not mix them with halogens if you are using a dimmer because there are different colors on low. But without a dimmer, you could probably mix these and not notice.Issues:1) On the dimmer described, these bulbs will dim from 100% to 0% when there is at least one halogen still on the dimmer. When all 8 bulbs are LED, they emit little bit of light at the lowest dimming setting - maybe 2%. All in all, this is acceptable, too dark for most applications, and much better than other bulbs that stop at say 15-20% brightness. I would rate the bulb 5 starts for its ability to dim full range.2) On the dimmer described, there is some amount of flicker at lower dimming levels. If you're staring at the bulb face, I notice there is perhaps a tiny bit of flicker at maybe 20% (though I think I could find some settings around that level that flickered less or not a all), but it didn't show on surfaces that I noticed. As I dim further down into the 2-15% dimming range there is much more noticeable flicker. With one halogen in the circuit, it is much less pronounced. With 8 LEDs, it looks a bit like candle light flicker (though at 2700K) and it is visible on the surfaces it is illuminating. All bulbs flicker at sync. Again, this issue might go away with a different dimmer. So if your looking for 2700K firefly light that doesn't flicker on my type dimmer, this might not be the bulb for you. My dimmer is a combination rocker switch with a slider. I will say when the rocker is off, the lights are off. If I had to depend on the slider only with no full off position, the flicker at the lowest setting would be somewhat annoying. I probably don't need the lowest levels of dimming under most conditions so the flicker at that level is just something I'll live with.3) I have two other PAR20s in can lights on separate switches and a separate circuit. On one socket with no dimmer, I had one bulb that flickered on high - but a second bulb did not seem to. On the other socket with the same dimmer as above, it flickered on high as well. I left the halogen in this one. This behavior wasn't noticed on the other circuit, so perhaps something else going on here. And maybe the correct dimmer would correct the one that flickers on high.So overall, a pretty good bulb. Good CRI, 2700K, lumens. Better than other LEDs I've tried in the past and did not keep. In an ideal world, the bulb would dim cleanly with no flicker from 0-100% and in a perfect world, it would lower its temperature as it dims like a halogen (and like some of the Phillips candelabra bulbs that have 'warm glow'). I happen to like candle light when the mood calls for it. The flicker at low dim is my main issue and that might be due to the dimmer.

smooth, warm light
Perfect for a reading lamp. Just enough light, warm but not too red, no flicker (have not tried to dim). All that for 8 Watts! The lamp is short enough to fit into my shade without showing from a side.

Bought 4 in May 2021, 4 in July 22, put into use over time, and now 3 are already dead
I purchased a 4 pack of 8w 4000k neutral white in May 2021 and 4 more in July 22, and started using them over the next year as I needed to replace other ones. Now one died about two months ago -- after about a year, on probably an average of 2 hours per day of use. The listing said "LONG LIFE - Last 22.8 years with life rating of 25,000 hours. Based on 3 Hours average use per day.". Apparently not. I'm not using them on a dimmer so I can't comment on that. Overall the light was fine. 8w, 500 lumens. My previous 4000k PAR20 bulbs were 11w, 550 lumens. So these are a little more efficient apparently, but not quite as bright technically. In the real world, I don't really notice the difference. The Luno PAR20s were priced very competitively so I only deducted 1 point. Otherwise, I would have deducted 2. 9/21/2022UPDATE 11/13/2022 - It turns out the I haven't been the only one changing these bulbs in our bathroom. We've gone through all spares except 1, and have 4 Luno's in use out of 7 bulbs in the room (5 Luno's in use until today but I replaced it with a different brand). It turns out the Luno's are burning out and we are changing them out, and they are burning out again. We haven't noticed this kind of problem with the brands Lowering from 4 stars to 3, now that I realize that 3 out of 8 have died in the last 18 months, not 1.

as advertised
It's a light bulb. Works as advertised. Unable to determine longevity since it's only been week. well packaged. time will tell if it stays a five,

Flickering when dimmed
Installed in my range hood and the size is perfect - BUT - when the normal (not super bright) setting is used, the LEDs visibly flicker. I would compare the flickering to what you see when you record LEDs at same frequency. Unfortunate, they look great.

Good color and brightness, doesn’t hurt my eyes!
I actually bought these bulbs last fall, but have only just installed them in my living room to replace two older LEDs that finally gave out. I’m really happy with the brightness and color tone of these bulbs. I even like that they are shorter and therefore sit higher up in the recessed fixture. I’ve had problems with other LEDs being far too bright; not matching up with wattage equivalency claims, and not having accurate color representation. That has not been my experience with these bulbs. I ordered the 2700k warm bulbs and they look great. My wife and I were both very happy with “the look” when we first clicked on the lights. I think this one’s a keeper for our living space.

Bright, good value
These seem brighter than the halogen bulbs they replaced. I also think they are probably not 2700k as they seem “whiter” than the halogens. I like that they are not nearly as hot as the halos.
