Biscuit's First Trip Paperback – Picture Book, January 26, 2010

My toddler loves the Biscuit books. I got this one because it showed driving for a vacation like we were going to do but I did not expect snow and sleigh rides for some reason, so it didn't fit with our beach trip with family quite as nice as I was thinking it might, but she still loves it.Would be great to relate to winter family travel if that is what you are looking for.

Purchased this book to include in my toddler's travel bag for a long journey to Grandma's house. This sweet story chronicles the preparations and journey of a little girl and her puppy, Biscuit, as they travel to visit relatives. Biscuit and his sweet owner travel by car, but the heartfelt story will resonate nonetheless with little travelers as they back their suitcases and travel. This story was enjoyed by my 2.5 year old and 5 year old alike, but both were also very familiar with other Biscuit stories so the character on the cover drew them in from the get-go! If you child likes Biscuit stories, I would recommend this book.

My daughter loves the Biscuit books. She thought it looked like they went to Colorado.

I use this series for early readers in kindergarten-first grade who are receiving extra tutoring in reading. The children like the narrative progression and the pictures allow them to find clues to the text so that they have more success in their reading.My 2 1/2 year old grandson discovered the series in my bookshelf and he declared them "his" books that he "reads" by himself. He now possesses the entire series in his own home in his personal childsized backpack. He often retreats to his pack to find a Biscuit book for someone to read to or with him. They are his favorites among his book collection. He no longer has an interest in the usual baby or toddler books.

I downloaded this book on my daughter's kindle before we left the US for China. I thought that we would read this book often while traveling and we did. My daughter loves the Biscuit's books. They have helped her stay connected to home on our one year journey that is ending really soon! I would recommend this particular book for any parent planning a trip with their children who are learning how to read.

my granddaughter loves this story it has lovely illustrations and is fabulous for young children.my granddaughter is age 4 and I would recommend this book for children even younger.

My little girl loves this book she always woods along with it I would recommend this to all my friends and family members

Really enjoyable book for 3 year old grandson. He enjoyed joining in with "woof woof " at end of each page .

Good read for children, although it is a bit sort

Our daughter loves this book & is always asking for it. We have it downloaded on Kindle Fire & are very impressed. Lovely colourful illustrations & the story is just the right length & a lovely wintry family feel. The constant 'woof wolf's is a favourite with daughter & we often get her to do that bit. Highly recommended as a bedtime story!
