Good surprises but not best quality
Purchased as a gift for my daughter. She enjoyed opening it daily but some of the gifts weren't good quality. Socks were a decent size and she really liked the paper. Purchased when on a discounted price and was reasonable for the amount spent

Great for my granddaughters
My granddaughters who are Harry Potter fans love this advent calendar. The quill pen and ink are a real hit with the 8 year old who has done some beautiful writing with it.

Waste of money
Empty compartment. Doors too hatd to open and 2 items broke when trying to take them out. One disappointed child

Great for HP fans
We bought this for my Harry Potter mad daughter and she absolutely loved it! This is very Gryffindor dominated, so if your child is a fan of one of the other houses this might not be the right advent calendar for them as hair baubles, one pair of socks are in Gryffindor colours. There are some smaller items, like the stickers, paper, and envelopes, that she wasn’t bothered about. But there are quite a lot of other items she loved, like the quill and inkwell, hair accessories, socks, and charm bracelet. All of which are getting used quite regularly. Overall, this was a huge success in our house and we felt it was worth the cost.

Ok, but not great. Weird order of gifts, and missing a day. Mixed feelings.
Started strong, a good number of gifts were greatly received. The doors were a little easy to tear further than designed, so holes started appearing in days that were not opened yet.I have no idea what was going on with the order of the gifts... it seemed very poorly planned. We got a third of the way in, and got an ink pot... just an ink pot. Ok... not exactly an amazing gift.We finally got the quill around day 22!!! Which means you made a 9 yr old wait over a week for the second part of a set which requires both parts to work???The last and biggest failure, was that 1 door had absolutely nothing behind it... we thought it may have dropped behind the plastic, so have been waiting for the last day to check, but no, nothing there. It was day 23, which was a rectangle slot with a glue spot behind it to hold something there, but I can't find any details of what this should have been.We can't find any details of the comapny to make a complaint.
