The fact its so thin to hold, and you have to really push the lever to open it, then it springs out and long and sharp, makes me concerned. When it springs out it does lock into place. But getting it unlocked to close it was a maneuver because the little bar inside holds it but doesn't always release it, so you have to push it aside with your fingernail whilst holding the blade to make sure it doesn't contact your fingers in front of it. I think its nice for being light, long and sharp, but hopefully only one that is conscientious whilst working it would.

I got it for my office, to cut an apple when I eat lunch at my desk. This thing confusing me every time I have to open it. It is so counterintuitive to me....I always see myself cutting my finger off. Even if someone attacks me I won’t be able to open it quickly. Maybe I need time to get used to it.What I didn’t like: it is not sharp. And I asked my husband to sharpen it...he said it won’t be as sharp as my kitchen knife because blade is not thin enough. Maybe I just got wrong item....but it isn’t working for my purpose.

I am so in love. I am a collector and this blade is impressive, as well as quite sharp. Only complaint is the blade is loose when closing, and can fall on top of your fingers; NOT good with how sharp it is!

Others wrote the blade was too loose. Mine was too tight, but i lubed the hinge area and its a lot better. A simple dip of the hinge side in oil would be beneficial (I used vasoline and a pen oiler.)

Good for the money, it comes pretty sharp not sharp enough to shave but sharp. If you don’t flick it out hard enough you’ll notice the lock doesn’t slide fully under which is mainly fine for me just lock it back down and flick it again you’ll get the hang of it, and the flicking mechanism to open the blade does get hard to open at times so watch out. And last thing it dulls not super fast just like hmm I mean just try to sharpen it regularly maybe like once a week or more lol.

The mechanism is smooth, the blade is sharp & well-made.The look is a bit weak, the blade has a touch of wiggle after merely opening and closing it + cutting cardboard.

Knife feels great in the hand and comes sharp and ready to use. A fun one for sure - good flip open action, just be careful on the close. Hard to beat, especially for the price. Nice leather holder as well.

Screw.... lost a screw, sucks!. really like this knife and I really don't want to send it back.. it's such a well balanced knife (before missing screw) and I enjoyed it...I don't think I liked a knife more than this within a week...it would be all 5 stars but what good is a knife going to be if it falls apart.. sending it back for the cost just doesn't make sense...before I would in a heart beat, but Amazon seems to wait up to two weeks to refund, or longer...but Honestly, this knife is great, just remember to check your screws...
