RothcoCamo Boonie Hat Bucket Hat Military Hat

I purchased many hats made by Rothco, because I feel that there name stands for quality craftsmanship at a reasonable price. There hats are lightweight, fit great and nicely made. My youngest son loves this hat, and already wants another one in a different color.

This is a great hat for heavy sun or heavy rain conditions. It rolls up compactly and stands up to both storage and wear. An excellent value for wear during any outside activity.

Exactly what I was looking for! Color was perfect as described, fit was dead on, quality is outstanding, been wearing it everyday down here in the Yucatán where my ranch is. If you are looking for a Boonie like what we had in the service, this is it!

I had gone through the reviews before ordering the hat, I was slightly skeptical because of all the comments about the fit and what not so I ordered a 7 1/2. I received it yesterday, and it arrived just on time. I'd planned on going out to a nature trail for a few hours that day and was hoping it would be waiting when I arrived home from work. I opened it up, took it out to the trail with me, and boy did it impress. I couldn't believe how much cooler it kept my head, neck, and face. I mean, it really works wonders. If you're planning to spend a decent amount of time outdoors in the heat, I highly suggest this product! It's fantastic.

The hat fits very well. I like the weight of the fabric. Most hats are to hot. The strap is great. I can put it in front, in back or on top of the hat. It will work well for camping. The stitching is done well and the brim has just enough stiffness.

Hat looks good and fits as it should. I'm returning however because the brim is too small to provide any kind of real shade. It looked small on my big head. 7.5". The brim is about 2" wide.

Really good if you're looking for a short brimmed boonie hat.All I could say that some people might not like is it is heavier than my other boonies, and the vent holes are small.The size is spot on, I wear an XL hat so the 7 1/2 fits me perfect.

Just looking for a cheap packable hat to keep the sun off of my ears. The hat rolls up or packs flat nicely. The construction seems very good for the price. I the brim is relatively stiff, it does not flop around while wearing it. (I'ts still new, not sure how it will be after washing). It does not have a pocket for the chin strap on the inside however. I can't comment on the sizing, I just got a large and got lucky.
