I have purchased other video devices and this one surpasses all others by far. It is evident that this is not the typical chinese cheap stuff. The packaging, the instructions, the peripherals all top notch. Not to mention the excellent video quality and ease of use. very discreet The only lesson learned here is that it is a fixed camera and cannot be adjusted for near or far imaging. maybe fisheye would be helpful. And it can only point in the direction of the wall outlet it is plugged into.

This works good enough. I couldn't find where it said if it had sound or not.. I figured it didn't. (wish it did) I don't think the night vision works. but the motion sensor is good. Picture quality is good not great. For the price I paid it is a good little camera.

This product performs just as described. Good quality video picture for such a small lens. It has a wide angle so it records nearly all of a room. Having children of various ages, friends of children, and pets in the house, we use it for keeping an eye on all the activities when we aren't in the room. I use it on motion detection mode. It starts recording quickly and continues for 5 minutes and stops recording if there is no longer any motion detected. If motion is detected then it starts a new 5 minute recording beginning right where the first recording ended. I like that the mini SD card is hidden as well as the mode switch and that it is easy to download the recordings to a cellphone or computer. I usually plug it into my portable battery pack with a charger cord I modified so that it does not actually charge the power pack but looks like it is in use. Very nice, useful product.

The camera quality is okay! The only reason for a 3 star but I wish it had sound and the night vision was way better as I can’t see nothing but a black screen.

The camera is really easy to use - select motion or continuous with a switch. For most applications given the size of the file you probably want to select motion and use the biggest SD card you can find.Stick in an SD card and plug it in. Time is adjusted by modifying the text file that the camera formats on the card.Quality is ok - I don't think it is really 1080P. The picture is pretty noisy and night vision is not terrific.However for secretly monitoring a location it is pretty good especially considering the price.
