Almost too warm!
My hands and fingers often get extremely cold when using traditional ski gloves so I decided to try mittens. These mittens kept my hands very warm during a 3 day ski trip to Jackson Hole, WY. In fact, my hands were actually sweating at times even though temps were in the teens and 20s and it was snowy and windy each day. Overall the gloves performed great. They seem well made and durable. I wear size L in most gloves but the size L in these mittens was too small for my hands. My fingers were touching the ends of the gloves and were uncomfortable, despite there being plenty of width. I exchanged the size L for XL and the fit was perfect.

Very warm and cozy!
These mittens are INCREDIBLY warm! I wear them when biking in single digit temperatures and my fingers stay nice and cozy. The fleece lining is soft and quite comfortable. The gloves themselves have a good grip surface as well. All in all, an excellent pair of mittens for all-purpose cold-weather!

Super Warm!
I purchased these for cycling after watching a cycling video suggesting mitts as a way to keep hands warm while cycling in the winter. My hands are colder than most of the cyclist I ride with and after trying numerous gloves on my own and of their suggestion (all pricey), these worked incredibly well. There is a bit of a dexterity adjustment for gear shifting but well worth it! I ordered a size up to have room enough for hand warmers if needed. Have not needed them so far.

Affordability and functionality
The Carhartt Men's W.P. Waterproof Insulated Mitts boasts exceptional warmth. In low-activity situations or milder temperatures, they deliver snug comfort. However, when subjected to high-intensity activities, especially in extreme cold with hand warmers (like my experience with a recent -25°F country skiing), these mitts fall short. Their 100% impermeability to air renders them less breathable, causing moisture buildup. My hands perspired, and I had to periodically expose them for ventilation. For regular or sedentary use, these mitts offer affordability and functionality, but they may not be the ideal choice for vigorous, cold-weather activities.

Warm and comfortable
I use these when clearing snow from the driveway and sidewalk during the winter. My hands stay nice and warm even down to subzero temperatures.

If you want to keep your hands warm (period), THESE ARE IT
It’s effective, almost too effective, at keeping or getting your hands warm while in freezing cold temperatures. I’ve been through too many gloves, expensive and cheap, and my hands would eventually get cold. I’d gotten my toddlers these same mittens and after playing in the snow realized their hands were not cold at all when we got back indoors. I aesthetically prefer gloves but I realistically prefer warmth, so I figured I’d lose nothing but trying some adult men’s mittens for myself.Since I got these I have continued to be surprised at how warm my hands would remain in these things. And even more impressive is that when I put them on after I’d already had my hands out in the cold for too long, my hands would warm back up in a few minutes. As someone who spent a few winters buying and trying many different gloves and brands, I can say without a doubt that these get the job done of you want to be out in the cold doing activities without your fingers going numb.If you’re mitten-averse like I was, I get it. There are some limits to what you can do/grab/touch. But it’s not that much more of a hindrance than gloves already are. You can’t wiggle your fingers freely. And to get the maximum insulation they should fit your hand more snug than loose. I had a slightly larger pair (XL) first and it let in a little bit of air when I wore those in the cold so stuck with the large. I can’t spread my fingers fully with them on but i can spread them just enough to relax my hands. If you value warmth as part of comfort this won’t be an issue, but again, a size up gives you more room but a bit more cold air in exchange.

Nice and toasty set of Mittens
When I was looking for a pair of mittens, I did my usual online-research and was amazed at how much you could pay for a pair - who buys $400+ mittens? Not being in the Artic explorer range of buyers, I just wanted a pair that wouldn't get wet from snow when using my snow blower, and actually keep my hands warm. Do I really have to pay over $100 to keep my hands warm? No matter what the price, there are always some negative reviews, even on $200+ mittens, so I figured I'd give these a try - they have more decent reviews then not, and they're made by Carhart, and I like some of their other products. Well, I can say that for $25, they have exceeded my expectations, and yes, they keep your hands toasty and appear to shed snow. I just got them, so we'll see how they hold up, but I'm not going to be using them for any involved work projects, otherwise, I'd get leather mittens, and I don't ski or snowboard, so maybe those are more specialized. I have no plans to date to visit the Antarctic. But for shoveling snow and going on walks when it's below freezing, these will suffice well. Time will tell to their durability, but they appear to be well made and I don't see any issues with stitching or weak areas.

Decent enough quality but one problem
These are warm and comfortable, even at very low temperatures, however if the do get wet inside you will have a very hard time drying them because of the waterproofing material. And yes, eventually they will get wet inside and take a long, long time to dry out.

Toasty warm for cold Canadian winters
I bought these just in time for a -40°C cold snap and was SO thankful to have them. They fit well and are really cozy inside with warm polar fleece.I like that they have adjustable wrist straps to tighten them as needed, as well as a fleece cuff that extends up enough to reach my jacket sleeve so no cold/snow can get in. They were comfortable enough to wear when driving as well, as they're not overly bulky.Highly recommended!

Bad ass mits
Theses things are a great purchase, not the warmest they're a bit thin(still pretty warm) but more importantly they are fully water proof. Hands stay dry no matter how much water.
