Pilot Juice Gel Ink Ballpoint Pen, 0.5mm, 36 Color Set (Japan Import) [Komainu-Dou Original Package]

These pens. Buy these pens. I originally fell in love with them because a friend and coworker of mine uses them at work and have me one. I finally took to Amazon to buy my own pack to prepare for Inktober. Way better than the 12 pack she had, I discovered the 36. Complete with yellow and white pens. I went to test them out and wound up drawing an apple. I’m impressed and satisfied and overwhelmed because of the depth I can add to drawings now. Also I love to color code lists and schedules. These are solid writing pens for sure.

These pens come in a good variety of wonderful colors. There are no smears, blots or pen explosions. The ink stays in place and they are very slight weight. I gave this some time and I just do not like them. The concept is good, but the result is they are useless to me. They are too expensiver for the lack of color while writing. A majority won't write at all. I do not understand how a pen that is gel and ball point combined barely shows up on paper. I have to shine an led light over my journal and put my face all the way in the book to see if I actually wrote. I have a plethora of vel pens and regular pens and these write like colored pencils without pressing hard. You can try to press hard with these, however, it will not make the ink darker.

These pens are awesome.I have had them on my wishlist for awhile. I am a huge fan of most Pilot pens to begin with, so when I heard how great these pens were for planners, I had to go ahead and splurge.I'm glad I did. These pens have a very steady flow, I noticed no feathering.There was a slight bleed through on thinner papers, but I noticed none through my Erin Condren planner which I guess has a thicker paper.I've had no smearing, though I haven't tested running my finger over it.Overall I am pleased with these, and I totally feel like they were worth the price.The only reason for the 4 stars instead of the 5 is that a few of the pens took quite some time to get that smooth flow, however once I achieved it, it was there.Overall a great planner pen for those of us who like to stay organized by color coding.

I purchased these pens because I saw someone do a review of planner pens on YouTube and I got curious about these. Initially, I placed these in my cart and never checked them out because I was nervous about the price. I ended up buying them almost full price because I was getting impatient.I have only great things to say about them. These aren't like your traditional gel pens. The body is more sleek looking than those dumb gel pens you can find at craft stores. Even though, those have more colors than this, these pilot juice pens don't skip and the colors are vibrant. These are really great planner pens if you're one of those people hoarding planners, notebooks, and the like.They are great for color coordinating and bullet journaling. I definitely recommend these if you're on the fence about them. You won't regret it!P.S. I eventually caved and also bought them in 0.38 and 0.7 both on 24 color because I am also a pen hoarder. Btw, these are loads better than the G-2's.

These pens are amazing, they dry quickly and flow very smooth. I haven't had any issues with skipping nor blobs of ink. I believe I found them to feel a little scratchy when I first got them but either I got used to it or they adapted. A couple of odd colors but otherwise they are great, especially considering that with this bundle they are less than a dollar each and include the pastel and metallic sets.The photo I've included is missing a grey swatch but there is a grey included in the set. The white is nearly impossible to see but it's the last swatch on the far right, sadly it isn't opaque so you have to go over it twice on dark paper.

I don't use these to write with, I am an old lady who likes to color. That said, they are very nice to use! The ink reservoir on these is massive compared to most gel pens and they lay color down smooth as butter. I bought these because I already had the small group of .38 tips and wanted the .5 for more area coverage. My only other comment is the packaging. They come in a simple plastic bag. Not one of those irritating and sharp wanna be fancy packages. If they all came like this pens might be a tad cheaper!

I have a number of these pens, all of them have written smooth with a solid stream mark, not skipping. So far, I have not had any problems with apparently what feels like a scratchy mark. There is a great variety of colors, which is probably my only problem, not with the pens, but narrowing down which colors to use. At present I am using fourteen different colors, very happy with all of them. They also seem more water proof / resistant than other gel pens. They are pretty good down to the bottom of the barrel, also unlike some other gel pens. I know that everything made by human hands can’t be all perfect, and considering the number of pens I use and have gone through, so far none of them have failed me. Some of these pens literally come from Japan, and do take some time to get across the pond, but I am happy with all of them.

Pilot Juice Gel pens are comfortable to write with. I have not had smudging issues with the ink. With 36 colors (some of them metallic), there are plenty to choose. You will find yourself wanting to write letters again. Grocery lists are fun to do by food type or aisle when you incorporate different colors for each. I have truly enjoyed writing with these pens.

These pens are even prettier than I expected. They write very smoothly and the colors are to die for.It took them 1 month to arrive in Europe.Very happy with the purchase!
