LamiglasRedline - Salmon & Steelhead Fishing Rod

This rod is a long stick and works well with a down rigger. Caught two nice King Salmon with it just today.Sitka, Alaska.

I would give this rod a 4 if it was what they said it was. This Lamiglas was not made in the USA as they state it is. It also does not say Lamiglas down the side as it does in the picture. I feel like I got duped and would've spent more on a USA made rod. I'm not really happy about that at all!!! As for the rod, sensitivity is fantastic for a heavy rod. Only gripe is there is a little more flex where the grip meets the rod than what I would like. Again THIS IS NOT MADE IN THE USA LIKE THEY STATE.

Appears quite a few folks commenting on shipping damage - In my case had the same experience 2x arrived damaged.Cons:1. Lamiglas redline rod not made strong enough in particular at the ferrules area (both bottom/top sections)2. Extremely poor shipping to vendors from factory? i.e. tip and key areas should be protected and packed in tube?Pros:1. Rod color and wraps are very nicely done2. Carbon grip with Lamiglas logo printed is also very cool and unique3. Appears to have nice action/backbone4. 3rd rod came wrapped with cardboard tip protector to ensure no damageHave not had a chance to use yet, so not sure how well rod will hold up. Hope it doesn't snap/break as others mentioned. After 3x ordering the 3rd rod was received undamaged.

Unmatched for drifting for larger trout in rivers or over sand flats for resident blackmouth or flounder. Caught a rockfish off of it and it handled it super well, and the sensitivity with braid is unreal.

Two piece rod rubber banded and thrown in a tube with no packing.I was able to bend a guide back into the factory position.The rod itself was a good deal.

I absolutely loved my Lamiglas HS94MHS however this one was built poorly and it snapped definite sign of a defeat. I've emailed a manufacturer and also call them but have not received an email back or or a phone call about this product I would like a replacement because I love my pool but unfortunately it broke after a hook up on a Humpy on the Snohomish River. I was in shock and so were by standers all telling me Dammm mann but aren't Lamiglas warranty for life. If you are the manufacturer and reading this please reach to me.

Package had minimal packing inside but glad nothing was broke. Seems like a knock off or lamiglas changed there butts cause it’s not like my others but it worked fine on the DR

Feels like a great rod and very well built it seems. Although I haven't fished with it yet. This rod is designed in the USA but built overseas in China not woodland Washington. I've included the tag that came with the rod to show this. I only paid 71 dollars Canadian so im not complaining it easily blows any 100 dollar rod out of the water. Much more comparable to a 200+ rod. Thanks Amazon!!! Update: I've used this rod for salmon steelhead and browns upto 20 pounds . It handles them with ease . Beauty rod . Very happy with my purchase.

It came damaged. The package from outside was not damaged at all, however the rod guides were bend and cracked.
