STAR WARS The Black Series Imperial Stormtrooper (Holiday Edition) Toy with PORG, 6-Inch-Scale Holiday-Themed Collectible Action Figures (Amazon Exclusive)

Definitely not anything any Star Wars fan or black series collectors asked for but a fun pick up for the holiday season nonetheless. Is it a cash grab attempt by Hasbro, yes but that’s a given. It’s to be expected when a company phases out old molds to put out a last wave as they introduce a new mold line before retiring those molds. This holiday trooper uses the older trooper body & head model. So no butter fly joints or resized helmet. It’s not a bad figure given it’s my first pick up of this body model. It gets over 90 degrees in the elbows & knees. Comes with a all white porg & ice spear. He has a holster for a blaster so if you have an extra laying around you can utilize it. The real center piece to this figure is the ugly sweater design on the torso which is done very nicely (although I wish it would have extended to the back) it show cases a ATAT walker & rebel alliance logos as well as a X-Wing blasting a tie fighter. It has a very nice matt finish to the sweater design area while the rest of the body has nice shiny gloss especially the helmet very reflective. It’s a fun pick up for adding an extra festive touch to your shelf. As well as it’s gift package art style it makes for an easy gift for a Star Wars fan or black series collector. Perhaps they’ll accept the cheerful gift as is, if they are custom or kit bash savvy they can make a custom figure of it, or if they’re into reselling or trading they can sell or swap for another figure. This particular one was in my wheelhouse for its simplistic festive look unlike others in the wave none of the colors contrast with one another & it doesn’t look overly gimmicky.

I have managed to collect 4 out of the 5 Holiday Troopers. I am still after the Target Range Trooper Santa. My latest one came today, the Imperial Stormtrooper Holiday Edition.Packaging and Giftable-wise, it was terrible. The box was ripped at the top in two places. As other commenters have noted, the packaging leaves a lot to be desired. There were no packing materials in the box at all. I give the Packaging 2 Stars.That said, I opened the package and displayed him with my other three: The Holiday Clone Trooper from Game Stop, the Sith Trooper from Best Buy, and the Snow Trooper from Walmart.He comes with a snow-white porg (a repaint of the one that comes with the Clone Trooper), an Ice Lance, and his green belt has the standard Stormtrooper holster but with no blaster. I placed an extra blaster in it to complete his look! His paint scheme is great and comparable to the ugly sweater also found on the Clone Trooper. His Xmas Ugly Sweater has an X-Wing shooting at a Tie Fighter, the Rebel Phoenix symbols, and an AT-AT at the bottom. His articulation is stiff and it was hard to make him stand, but with some work it will get better.Overall, I am happy with it and glad I was able to one from Amazon! I give the action figure itself 5 Stars.

I love this. I am a huge fan of the Christmas star wars black series. It came in great shape and perfect condition. Paint job is also extremely good. As a collector I was very pleased with that. The figure was a great addition to others I have. The box was also in great shape and since I keep them in the box that was also important. Amazon did awesome on protecting it in the shipping process.

Very creative paint scheme and what a great idea to make holiday themed star wars figs. Sure, they can't hit a damn thing with their blasters but after a long campaign of missing every thing they shoot at, even troopers deserve some holiday down time.I hope Hasbro continues to make holiday themed 6" figs. I would love to see main characters holidayed up and maybe even some holiday sets for them.

A nice holiday theme packaging and that little detail of the white Porg is priceless. A nice holiday addition to any Star Wars Fan collection.

Fun figure. Perfect for a geeky Christmas display or tree ornament. Great detail with the X-Wing, Rebel Symbol and AT-AT design on the chest plate for the Ugly Sweater design look.

It's a good condition and a good collectible too add it in my collection.👍

Package showed up and it was open AND the figure box was torn a little. Wasn’t happy when I seen that. But overall glad I snagged him before he sold out. 8/10 mint..

6 inch action figure perfect for the people who collects this lineIm not sure if this is the best figure or the worst one they ever produced ..Why would it be the Best : well it puts you in the holiday spirit for sure with all the colors and I love the ugly shirt armor. Reminds me of a star wars holiday specialWhy would it be the worst: out of season you will question why younhave this in your collection. Its basically a repaint of an existing figure with a different weapon. When you hold it. Figure has a holster even if there's no accessory that goes in itOverall I really dont know what to think about this figure .. it maybe a 3/5 ?

Finally acquired this figure which now means i have the full set of holiday edition figures , the figure is an excellent display piece alongside the others and will now be put out with our xmas decorations every year , as great as the product is/looks , i was rather disappointed with amazon , no knock at the door and no card through the letter box saying that they had actually left the parcel WITH A NEIGHBOUR , it also read on my order details "parcel handed to resident" which was a lie as my next door neighbour lives next door xD and is not a resident of this address , issues aside , finally have it , looks incredible , and all in all , hasbro recycled the older moulds wisely here and the repainting of these figures is nothing short of festive , would recommend but don't expect good communication from amazon sadly , it's a guessing game sometimes
