The problem with many cars, including the RAV4, is that the door edge opening opens into the wheel well. This can, under some circumstances, allow moisture and dirt into the door frame area. On older cars and larger cars, there is a one or two inch lip in the body work so the door opens to the outside. But these days we are packing the interior space of a mid size car inside the the outer dimensions of a compact car. Therefore you can't waste inches of exterior space on these details. (Did you know your RAV4 will seat 5 large adults comfortably but has a turning diameter tighter than a Honda Civic?)Honestly, some people won't care about the dirt, but I carry business passengers in my car and it is not good for business when a client gets out of your car only to find dust or mud on suit or dress that cost $500 or a lot more, that now needs dry cleaning. And even if nobody is getting a dry cleaning bill, a clean car leaves a good impression.That is where these expensive guys come in. They cost as much as my Toyota OEM mudflaps, but my door sills are always clean and, I think, there is a small improvement in back seat quiet.Stones are no longer hitting the edge of the metal door and on certain noisy road surfaces there is an additional sound absorbing effect from the plastic is shielding the rear cabin from road noise. This is not a dramatic effect, but a very subtle one. From the driver's seat I have not noticed much but I have had several of my rear seat passengers remark the car is very quiet in the back seat. The Limited trim has very good sound insulation anyways, so maybe it is just people who are used to the sound levels in other trim levels which are higher.INSTALLATIONInstallation was very easy. It took me about 20 minutes and I did not have to drill anything. It actually took me longer to install the Toyota OEM mudflaps, which required drilling one hole into plastic on each side of the car. The fit was perfect and not one person has noticed them after I installed them. They are unobtrusive and work.DURABILITYI practically live in my car. I drive about 7500 miles per month. There is now about 37,000 miles on my 5 month old car. They look and work as they did on day one. I have no indication they won't last the 400,000 miles (600,000 km) that the car will last. The plastic is thick and strong. Nobody has damaged them getting in or out of the car.BOTTOM LINE:You have to really love your car to spend this much money on something like this. But if I totaled my car today, I would buy them again tomorrow.

Put these on a 2024 RAV4 Prime XSE and they fit just right. As others said, the sticky tape is pretty minimally effective so I roughed up the plastic that it's supposed to stick to on the fender well with emery cloth, wiped it with acetone and added another piece of 3M molding adhesive alongside. Still not confident it would all stick well there after getting wet, I added a plastic push fastener through a small drilled hole through the mudguard and car trim at the bottom to pin them together (last photo). Its's very secure now. I didn't re-use the removed plastic Toyota nuts which are pretty worthless as others noted. Instead I got 8 - metric M6 x 1.0mm Nylon Insert Hex Lock Nuts and washers in stainless steel which secured it tight and won't rust. I put a dab of black silicone sealer on each nut as an extra precaution against loosening from vibration. All the holes lined up just right.

I like how it keeps dirt and grime out of the door jam where a dress would drag across upon entry. The plastic feels tough and fits the shape of the wheel well very well. I recommend going to the hardware store and picking up eight 1/4×28 nuts with eight 1/4 washers to replace the factory plastic nuts. The original hardware either stripped out or couldn't sandwich all the material including the inner fender pad securely to the vehicle.

Installed these on a 24 Rav4 Prime XSE and took about eight minutes total to install both sides. For installation, make sure to thoroughly clean the area where the adhesive fixes to and also when installing it's easiest to start with the topmost connection and then work your way down. Seems very effective at keeping the inside of the door clean and also seems to reduce road noise coming from the back of the vehicle. Not a night and day difference but it was a noticeable difference.

Fit perfectly on my 2023 Rav4 Prime. It looks OEM and serves it's function well. Would definitely recommend!

These fender flares fit perfectly and are easy to install. They help keep the road debris in the wheel well and the door edge clean. They add a protective layer to the wheel well that makes them well worth the investment of cash and time. It took about 30 minutes to complete the installation.

It doesn’t fit in a toyota rav 4 2024. Returned with easy refund.

Big fan of these. Haven't had stuff getting in my doors and accumulating since i installed them, it's awesome. fit rav 4 prime 2022 perfectly. All the screw bits lined up great. Took a little bending to get over some parts, but perfect afterwards. Adhesive does not stick, i added some but is ultimately not needed after putting the nuts on.
