This toilet seat is comfortable and very good quality.. I’am a heavier set female and I’m glad that this toilet has metal clasping and not the regular cheap plastic ones most seats come with , so it’s strong durable and doesn’t shift when I sit. The red color is so beautiful and spice up your bathroom , it came with a cover and lifted FREE . This seat is money well spent, I bought the elongated size and it fit my toilet perfectly after many failed attempts with other seat that were too small or cheaply made and lasted a few days .. overall I love this seat and the color .. I definitely recommend it , spend the money it worth it for the style and quality and comfort

This product will NOT stay tight, it will slip while being used. I had it installed by a contractor who said he didnot like the design, and did not see how it would hold. I insisted that I liked the fact that it would lower the seat after a male used it. He installed it and called two days later to see if it was still OK. I said it was great, NO problem. About 3-4 days later I did notice it was a bit loose, a bit sideways, so I reached in the rear and tightened it. YES IT WAS LOOSE. I became wrapped in something else and forgot about it. The next day I was in the process of wiping and the whole seat let loose...GET THE PICTURE..in a 4 week period I was in the emergency ward twice. My back and right hip from this product. They need to take it off the market...It is dangerous to seniors!

Steel bracket that clamps lid to toilet an be rotated to vary alignment by up to 2 inches just by rotating it. This allows seat to be lifted far enough that the seat remains in place when you let go after lifting. Also, we have a handheld bidet, so I adjusted the seat to give more frontal access for the hand holding the bidet wand.The Finish so far (1 month) is easily cleaned and retains its mirror like shine.I would buy this again

I bought this because of the high rating, it’s black with chrome hinges and slow closing. There are, not just ONE points of weakness, but THREE with this lousy seat.I’ve installed quite a few toilet seats over the years without much of a second thought (except for the previous one before this - also an Amazon purchase).Points of weakness:1st-the mounting screws are hand tighten only. Not the hex nut that breaks off when tightened for a sturdy fit.2nd-the hinges rotated 360° From an off center hole. Caused it to rotate at an oval if you sat down on it too hard, or if you aren’t a smaller framed individual.3rd-the “quick release” on the hinges either made the seat come off too easily or EXTREMELY hard. Which made the bolts become looser and the hinges to rotate.Waste of money and I have to buy ANOTHER one after less than a week of installing it. LAME!Doubt I’ll get a refund now…

This is an exceptionally nice looking toilet seat. The color and finish are wonderful.However - Installation instructions are minimal. Think Ikea without the cute cartoons.No matter what I did I could not get it to stay tightly on the toilet. And it came lose constantly.The last thing a man wants is a toilet seat that suddenly slides sideways in a guillotine fashion.I think this is caused by what is described as a "quick release" feature.Not really sure why you would want to quickly release your toilet seat.Maybe in case of a natural disaster - "Grab to laptop and that toilet seat!"Very disappointed.

Pros: Install was pretty simple. The black looks great in my bathroom. The lid is still closing slowly.Con: Can't keep the seat aligned with the opening and it slips off adjusting weight while sedition on it.

Purchased in April 2021 and the seat wiggles and slides side to side. I’ve tightened it over and over again and the problem in frustrating. Not a happy customer after paying more than $50.00.

Would not purchase again..... Why make it hard to put a toilet seat on ? To many added steps .... Why not just put normal hardware on a toilet seat instead of having to screw in bolt post and turn caps ? It doesn't make it more fancy ....... The darn thing won't stay on the toilet !!!??!!!
