I was able to repair a hose, without a splicer and tw connectors. By changing the gender of th the good hose end I was able to continue using the hose. The hose was used to only drain water out of a rain barrel, so I didn't need two good ends, M&F

I had one plastic hose connection that I thought would not last long, so I got this to screw onto it, so the wear and tear would be on the brass, not the plastic. Works great. Then I realized another hose bib I could replace because I had another adapter from this kit. Love them.

If I does n0t say "solid brass in the description you'll end up with aluminum, cast pot metal of brass colored steel that is so thin, you can crush a male end with two fingers. These are quality pieces well worth the their cost. Oh, do not even think about any garden hose attachments that have ANY plastic components. The will crack, after being in the sun for two season they will easily crack and definitely cross thread.

Everyone working in the garden knows that we will need both female to female and male to male adaptors with washers included. Another seller provide only one pair and charges $1 less. This one is a lot better deal. Qualities are excellent and I have no problem so far. I will buy again.
