This is a nice blend of natural colours and the right size for small pots 9cm- 15cm for succulent plants. Looks nice and clean, and finishes off the pots. Ideal to stop the small black flies that like to nest in pots in the kitchen. This gravel stops this happening. The bags are small but will cover about 6 small pots or 2 big ones. Not seen in Garden Centres where it would be cheaper but I would buy this Nordic variety again if I needed to.I ordered the white version but the gravel was too big- see picture.

I can't say that I fully agree with the seller's description of this product.They describe the gravel as "round". Much of it is vaguely so, but a fair proportion of it isn't anywhere near that shape (sharp corners and more geometrically angular, etc), and the rest (also a fair proportion) is more like the tiny shardlike chippings from a sculptor's day at the office, albeit from many different geological and multicoloured sources.Then there is the size description. 3 to 8mm is obviously a guideline as there are a few bits that are larger than 8mm and quite a few that are smaller than 3mm. All of the smaller bits are bigger than what I would describe as sand though.None of the above really matters to me however, as it will do the job that I require. I just like descriptions of things that I buy to be accurate. I will keep and use the product.On the upside, the weight of the sturdy plastic bag that I received (in a cardboard box marked "Live Plants - Handle With Care", when it only contained dead rocks) was actually significantly over the 1kg ordered, so thanks for the extra.

V happy with these stones. They are keeping little flies at bay. Just be mindful that they will move when you water your houseplant, hence the soil on top of stones in picture, You can add more or just brush back into place when water absorbed. ☺️

The photo advertising this product is outrageously misleading!!!! The photo shows small stones!!What I received were microscopic bits of gravel!! Honestly... some/many pieces are smaller than 1mm diameter!! Tiny fragment sized gravel. If your pot/container accidentally tipped over you’d be finding these pieces years later!!!! Possibly with use of a magnifying glass!! Completely useless!! 😵😵😵😩😩😩

The product was delivered promptly, but I hadn't realised from the photograph how fine this gravel is - I was expecting something a bit more like small pebbles. I will find a use for it, but not as pot-topper as I had wanted to.

Just what I needed to put around the base of the cacti in their pots. Creates an effective barrier against flies and bugs.

This is just very fine gravel, nothing like the picture advertising it

Too small !!! Anyway I guess it’s ok for the price ...actually no but I bought them so ..
