Q: Does this have a fishy or "ocean" taste?

In the small quantity that I personally used in a smoothie, it just added color but had no detectable taste

Q: My son wants all blue cupcakes, will this effect consistency? And adjustment needed?

I haven’t used it for baking, but I do know that a very little goes a long way for coloring! That alone makes me think it wouldn’t alter consistency- save the remote chance that it has some kind of chemical reaction to the other ingredients that might alter the consistency.
