Roponan 2 Pcs Potato Peeler, Stainless Steel Vegetable Peeler, Y-Shaped Swivel Speed Peeler for Kitchen

I first bought a French style potato peeler from a street vendor in Paris fifty years ago and have always used this style ever since. I needed a replacement and decided to buy this particular brand and I’m pleased to say it has exceeded my expectations. The blade is so sharp that it peels without effort and the construction is more robust than the regular models I have bought in the past. Having two in a pack means I’ll not need to buy another one for a few years.

A lot of peelers (most) have a blade that either doesn't swivel enough or isn't wide enough at the mouth (or both) to handle peeling potatoes' uneven surface.I think I've been casually shop buying and trying out peelers over the last 15+ years without successfully acquiring as good a peeler as prior to then.Finally! a peeler the exceeds all mentioned requirements + very comfortable to use... I'll be buying more for family members and back-up for myself. Top quality.

They work well, a bit of a pain to hold and they don't always work as I'd like them to but they get the job done. Value for money isn't quite there however but they are better than the plastic alternatives and I imagine they last longer than a plastic one as well.

I've bought several different peelers with various results from totally useless to not bad - but the Roponan is wonderful and only recently realized that you can use it by pushing it as well as dragging as a peeler - so well done.

I have had a couple of poor peelers recently, but this one is really good. It's cheaper than the Sharp Peel, but just as good, although more lightly made so possibly it won't last as long. I have bought 3 more, one for each of my (adult) children! Really sharp from the ver first use and no need to break the blade in (which has happened before on cheaper makes).

Once you've had one of these style veggie peelers there's no going back to the more conventional peelers. They are quick, very effective and maintain their sharpness. Also great for shaving parmesan cheese over salads and chocolate of puddings.

I bought these peelers to replace one we’ve had for over10 years. I didn’t think they would be as good but they’ve proven me wrong so far. They are very sharp and easy to hold. Fingers crossed they last for a long while and at this point I can’t see why they wouldn’t.
