Ferrocerium Rod. Strike with steel to create sparks which shower at 5500 F or 3000 C. Essential for Lighting fires, a failsafe option. Waterproof and weatherproof.

This is a decent little ferro rod that throws an acceptable amount of sparks especially if you use the striker in the correct direction. Seems pretty well constructed handle and the rod is pretty chunky and should be good for 100s of fires.

Strikes are very good, only few sparks to set a fire !!!

The media could not be loaded.  Sturdy quality item. A great purchase price. Entirely easy to use. Especially for me in this video since I have arthritis in my thumbs, and yet - it only took a moment in time to get FIRE. Perfect in times of extreme need. You never know. I wouldn’t be without it. Highly recommend to others.

Great for starting fires. I’ve had no issues with the spark or catching on some husk or even just paper. Takes a few times but it does work well

I wasn't expecting this to be a monster, but it is! Often with ferro the coating van take a while to scrape before you get sparks. Not so with the Cenwulf. Big fat sparks after a few seconds & sparks every time. Also liking the striker's multitool touches. This was well worth the money.
