I just moved into my new house and was looking for a reliable camera that wasn’t too expensive. I had seen many competitors bragging about being #1 but I decided to take a risk on this camera and boy has it paid off. Not only to I get to be able to move around the camera but it also has flashing lights and the ability to have audio that is very loud I might add. I love this camera and I am definitely going to be purchasing more in the future for my family and friends.

This is an amazing HD camera. Very easy to setup and use. When you activate the alarm function, the camera alert anyone in the range and flash a bright light and the red- blue flicker. My visitors admire it so much. I get alert from midnight to 6am. Each alert is recorded and you can view each one with a click of a button. I now buy and install it for family members.You can also allow family members to watch you camera for you on their cellphone.Really amazing camera,. Image so clean!!

I just bought one of these and installed it on the corner of my house to view my back yard. Installation and wifi setup were easy and the camera picture is decent. But, motion detection is unusable. There are only 3 options for detection sensitivity and even on Low the camera is constantly triggering motion alarms. A snowflake, a raindrop, a tiny fly, anything will trigger an alarm.Edit 12/17/2020 -I have overcome my motion detection problems and overall, I feel pretty good about this product. Number one, it is an excellent value. Two, the image is quite good and the IR LED range is longer than I expected. Lastly, the company (Heimvision) reached out to me and has been quite willing to offer assistance with my motion detection issues. I would rate their Customer Service very high which is pretty rare these days and I am not easy to please.I would buy this camera again and will.

This worked great for two weeks. Now the WiFi won’t connect. It’s useless now. I’ll be returning.Update:Amazon was great, as usual. Their support tried to help me connect the WiFi, but unsuccessful. Returned and received another unit. The new unit will not connect. There is obviously an issue with this model. I have 3 other Heimvision (different model, and also uses a different app to connect) cameras connected to my WiFi without issue. Also, neither Amazon or myself could find a contact number for this company.Update #2I deleted the app and reloaded. The WiFi connected. If it works for more than two weeks, then I’ll raise it a star. I would like to give it 5*, as it really works well, when it works. But the lack of any customer support will limit time 4 stars.Update #3. I was contacted by the company. Jenny was very helpful. The camera has worked very well without issue for about 3 weeks now. It took a little bit, but I am very happy with the camera.

Very clear video. Love the rotating camera. Only con is the alerts go off for any little thing. I have the setting on low and the wind could blow hard and it will go off. Also, when I get the alert and try to open the notification, it lags and I can't see why the notification was sent. Hoping I don't miss something I'll really need.Update: I am now updating my review to 5 stars. Customer service reached out to solve my issue and even offered me a credit for my inconvenience. Really good company. I appreciate them reaching out to resolve my issue.

This camera is a great buy so far. We purchased for our back driveway and I had to turn down the sensitivity because it was so accurate. The picture is clear and it works well on night vision too. My husband said it was tricky installing but I’m leaning more towards user error.I like the app and it was easy to set up and link to my phone.

I purchased this camera as a gift for my dad. I mounted it on corner of his back porch, facing his cow pasture. He is 83 years old, and it has recently become difficult for him to get around. Now he can sit in his den and watch his cattle on the tablet I also gave him. The camera was easy to set up, and the picture quality is surprisingly good for the low price point. The pan, tilt and zoom functions work really well so that he can scan different areas and follow the movement of the cows and calves. An added bonus is that I was able to install the Heimlink app on my smartphone, and I am now able to view the cattle from anywhere.... to check to see if I need to stop by and put more hay out, or check on new calves. Ann, from Heimvision, sent me a letter (YES, through the actual US Postal Service, not an auto-generated e-mail), thanking me for my purchase and verifying that I am 100% satisfied with this camera, which of course, I am. That is what I call good customer service. I am REALLY impressed with the quality this camera provides for the low cost, and plan to buy more in the future for use at our home, and vacation cabin! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends family or co-workers.

This thing is insane!!!!!!! I mean this camera picks up sounds that you can hardly hear with your bare ear. There was an ambulance siren FAR FAR far away. I HARDLT heard it outside on my porch and i open the all and it’s LOUDZ AND CRYSTAL CLEAR AS CAN BE. You can hear rain drops so clearly. I can literally hear my neighbours talking outside and it sounds like they’re on my porch. The sound on this thing is incredible........Can hear whispers perfectly.The quality is good, it’s average of course. Nothing compared to 4k but still awesome.Motion detection is great - I have camera set to move with motion and that’s awesome!!I absolutely love the blue and red flashing lights. If someone comes up at night, i can set it so the lights flash blue and red like a police to warn anyone they’re on camera etc,. You also have the option to make an alarm sound go off when motion is detected.I love how I can manually rotate the camera. Sometimes I’ll be gone and tilt the camera to see if a package came or if the trash was picked up. That’s a great feature. So far love it.PLEASE PLEASE make a WIRELESS CAMERA EXACTLY like this!! That would be so amazing.
