This Kit has all the tools needed for the experience of gold panning. All the tools included work and will help any new to planning learn the process of panning. If you watch one videos and learn what you need to do to pan then this kit will allow you to practice.I will say that the kit is small and it does not allow you to work much material, so it would take you a long time to process 5 gallons of raw material. You will need to invest in larger diameter pans after you get a feel for panning. It is nice to have a small pan but the pans themselves are made from a hard plastic and will most likely crack in time with any about of use or if you stepped on it. Really nice pans are metal or a somewhat flexible plastic.If you are trying to really get started with panning as more then a beach activity you will want invest in bigger pans.

Originally, I gave this one star, because I was disappointed with the kit. The size of the pans were smaller than I wanted. The company sent me larger pans, and went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied. I didn't even ask for it. I don't recommend this kit, unless it's for children. But I HIGHLY recommend this company. If you're not happy, they will make it right!

What I got it was good quality but was missing the tweezers contacted seller he wanted me to do a lot of crap for a two dollar pair of tweezers I just blew it off

I like that this kit has really everything you can think of to facilitate your gold panning experience, and for a great price. We had a lot of fun on our first gold panning adventure at the American River, although we only found fools gold. But that wasn't the kit's fault, we just didn't get lucky :-)

Feels well built. Used several times now, and it seems to do the trick. Would recommend scuffing the pans with a stiff scrub pad or fine sand paper before first use.

Awesome product! Remember to lightly scuff the pans with a Brillo pad or steel wool to get the oil off and bam your ready to find some gold!

The gold panning set came on time. It was as shown in the picture online. After shopping for a set with the classifier, this one is a good price for what you get.
