This is a non-abrasive Ceramic media. These can be used when tumbling rock to act as a grit carrier and filler to aid in grinding and polishing of the stones in the tumbler. They are angle cut cylinders measuring 5/32" x 5/16" and are reusable and can also be used as a Burnishing Media for jewelry items. They require about a 24 hour break in period before using them for burnishing metals. We will also include instructions and a tip sheet to help you get results you can be proud of!

These guys are TINY... which is kinda good.
This media is TINY, 1/4"x3/8" approx. I have a batch of small to large "Apache Tears" (river tumbled obsidian) ranging from 1/4"^3 to 1.5"^3. I'm not worried about the smaller pieces getting chipped with this stuff in there and now the larger pieces can get more complete coverage with the abrasive. I'll post an approximate shrink percentage through a complete cycle (4-stage).
