It comes with a beautiful dusting of sugar to really get you in gear to lace up those cleats. Home runs may not come in abundance but it will give you the drive to get to first base frequently. Flavor for at least a half hour and then plenty of jaw jacking bubble blowing will follow. I heard the rumor that this is what contributed to David Ortiz silver slugging his way through his farewell season. It single handedly made Randy Moss' teeth straight. Lastly, what do you think has Connor McGregor flapping his gums so much at the podium? He's all hopped up on this sugar delight. Grape Ape. Silver back gorilla's crush this stuff. Whether you're in it for the Nostalgia or for the points on the board. Big League Chew Grape needs to come in larger case counts!

I remember from when I was a kid playing little league baseball and loving this gum. It seems a little different from what I remember or maybe its the fact that I'm 35+years older. Still though the taste is great if a bit strong at first but it lasts a long time and nothing is better to blow bubbles with.**Update: 02/21/16***. I bought this again off Amazon and something has changed. The packaging is slightly different (Purple color now).The taste is about the same maybe a little more strong or tarter than before. But the main thing I noticed is the consistency of the gum itself. It seems the long stringiness of the gum is there at first but breaks into smaller pieces very easily as you go to grab it. Kind of like confetti and makes a mess as it drops out of your fingers easily in tiny pieces. Also it seems to get harder as you chew it longer. Before if you chewed it for a long time it would stay soft. The flavor lasts about as long as before though. I guess they changed the formula or something. Still a decent gum but not as good as I remember or as good as when I bought it last here which was just over a year ago. I know its just gum but still. I originally gave it 5 stars but knocked it down to 3 stars as its changed from what it was once before. P.S. The expiration date is good to May 2017 so its not old stale stock.

When this gum is fresh, it's delicious and really wetsthe whistle. But Amazon is hit or miss on what it delivers. Occasionally, a good batch. Often, a batch that's hardened, stuck together and with a nasty aftertaste. Every now and then, strictly brittle little shards with all-around disgusting taste. Amazon recently stopped replacing bad batches, so good luck with your odds because you're not getting a refund or replacement when it's not the fresh and delicious batch that you should be able to count on.Five stars for the gum, in its optimal condition.One star for the supplier's lousy quality control and Amazon not making right the failures.

Awwww Yeah, and you don't stop! Man, it is so hard to find Big League Chew where I live, and that dwindles down even more when trying to find it in Grape flavor. This grape crack is my favorite fruit flavored gum. I salivate like that dog in the Sandlot just thinking about it so when I'm actually chewing it, I sound...well, frankly, I sound disgusting. I turn into a wild animal. It's so good. I hate this word but it's SO JUICY. OH GOD, THE JUICINESS.

Good to go. Wasn't stale like some are.
