Family Bedding Blanket, Cotton, Blue, Single Bed

I've bought this type of blanket before, when my granddaughter was small and she wanted one for her big bed, they are just brilliant for the money and summer, and give extra warmth in the winter, very good value for money

When my daughter moved into a single bed I got her the normal toddler duvet which was a 4.5 tog. Her room sits at 20ish degrees most nights. She was having terrible night sweats to the point that her hair was wet. Which I gathered was the duvet.I knew you could get cellular blankets for babies but I had no idea if you could get them for a big bed. I found this one much to my delight !I unpackaged it and threw it in the wash. I washed it by itself with a colour catcher and the colour did bleed. I also tumble dried it on cool and lots of fluff came off it so I would definitely wash and tumble dry first and on it’s own.My toddler no longer has night sweats with this blanket thankfully and she seems to be able to maintain a comfortable temperature with it.However, the one thing that lets it down is it’s weight. The blanket itself is sooooo heavy! So much so my daughter wakes up in the night sometimes tangled in in because it’s so heavy on her legs she can’t turn properly with it. Also unlike a baby’s cellular blanket it’s not soft. Even after washing and drying with fabric softener. It’s quite hard and stiff. I think if it was softer / looser the tangling up wouldn’t be as bad.Overall I do like it for her as she seems to be sleeping very comfortably temperature wise. The crying at night for help when she’s all tnagled I could do without. 😂Picture is from when it was just taken out of the packaging.

Bought for Ill relative, lightweight, perfect addition for bed. Colour good, product well made, versatile.

A rather thin blanket (probably accounts for low price) Washes well and retained bright colour.

I was looking for a light comfy blanket, I bought this as I have terrible night sweats due to medication and a throw is too hot. I was recommended this by someone who also has sweats and its cut them down by a lot. This has changed how I sleep, I'm not as hot and now will not sleep without it. Excellent cotton , I will buy another in the future. I hated sleeping with just a sheet, this is heavy enough to make you feel like you have something over you.

Arrived early, good quality cotton should wash well. Reasonably priced, would have liked satin edging but guess cotton blankets like this are usually plain.
