My son is 9 and in 3rd grade and hates reading but LOVES this series! These are definitely some of the only books that we have found which he enjoys! One of the first times he read one he said “WHAT?! I’ve been reading for 20 minutes?! It only felt like 5!!!” Thank goodness! They have a very cute and imaginative story line! I feel like they would be suitable for all kids, especially those needing a slower transition to chapter books...they are chapter books, but they have a picture every 2-3 pages which my son loves! Great for 2nd and 3rd graders...or a higher level 1st grade reader!

My kids and I have been reading this series together and absolutely can’t wait to keep going! They’re completely engrossed in Eerie Elementary and look forward to reading a few chapters each day. Tomorrow we start #4! Thanks for such a great little series!

This is one book in a series of "Eerie Elementary" books. I read to 4th graders each week at our local school. They absolutely LOVE these books, so I have purchased 4 different books in the series so far. They are exciting, lots of action, written thru the eyes of an elementary school kid, and are pretty quick reads. They are on the edge of their seats when I arrive each week to hear the next section, or the newest book. Highly recommend!

My son is on the spectrum, but very advanced in his reading skills(He's in 1st, reading at almost a 4th grade level), when we can get him to pay attention to it. I had found a Locker ate Lucy at a store and gave it to him for his birthday, and after he finally picked it up and read it(in 2 or so hours no less), he was absolutely BEGGING me for the rest of the series. I got him this and one other one, as well as the first Dragon Masters, and he's begging for the rest already. It warms my heart to see such a love of reading instilled in my little guy. He's talking about the characters as if they are schoolmates of his, and I can't wait to afford the rest of the series.

Pretty much the only fiction my 7 year old son will read, he loves reading nonfiction and is really into science so the strangeness of possibilities that this series has really grabs his attention. I really hope this series continues, his twin loves the magic treehouse series, this is a perfect counterpart for their different interests.

My six-year-old son has loved this series since book #2 came out. So much so that a year a go we emailed the author in hopes that #3 would be on its way soon. He actually emailed us back and said he would be writing more! Needless to say, it thrilled my son that one of his favorite authors had actually contacted him back.Well. We've been waiting for over a year for book #3 and just finished it tonight. We loved it! The author has such a great way with keeping young kids in suspense, that saving more chapters until the next night was just torture for my son (in a good way)!This series has been largely responsible for my son's jump to chapter books, and #3 didn't disappoint. Now, more waiting until #4!

Good entry into chapter books

This is a very cool series. I enjoyed it very much. The among us logic series are also very cool. Read them. This book is also very breathtaking and very exciting. It forces you to let you read the next chapter. Like you cant stop reading it. The author must be a genius at creating books like these series. Same for the illustrator. Thank you for writing these series! Cant wait to read more!!
