It's a winnah!
Purchased this as a "keepsake" toy for the child of one of my favorite people in the world. This review was delayed while I waited for a response to know how it was received, & the word is: it's a HIT! :-DI had always loved my kaleidoscope when I was this child's age, & wanted to get him something that would hopefully be as much a favorite toy, but smaller & more portable, so that he can easily bring it with him when out & about w/ his parents. I'm happy to hear that it seems to be exactly what I'd wanted for him, & as eagerly received as I could wish.

Safe and Sturdy
Purchased for 12 month old's Easter basket. They are sturdy and colorful. Viewing through either side gives a kaleidoscope effect. Safe enough for a one year old. Plus, it should hold the interest of a child until they are capable of handling a real kaleidoscope. Excellent product.
