I killed too many digital thermometers in my jungle terrarium. This one has worked for over a year. It's small and it looks neat and vintage.

Put in the inside of a cupboard that needs to be kept cool because of items in cupboard. Nice to be able to see the temp to be sure I keep entire home cool enough to protect items.

First off, it's impossible to adjust, or at least the one I received was (others seemed to be able to do it, but I don't know how). The screw grooves are narrow and shallow, and even though I own 3 jeweler's screwdriver sets, all of the blades were too wide. I eventually broke down and cut a razor blade segment to fit the hole, but even it was too wide.So after giving up on adjusting it, I figured that I could just note down the offset, and then add or subtract that each time. Except that it is so inaccurate that even that wouldn't work. In my office it read 80 instead of 75 (it was 5 high), then outside it read 100 instead of 106 (it was 6 low). Then back inside where it read 81 instead of 73 (it was now 8 high). And FWIW, I gave it at least an hour to after each move to come to equilibrium.And the humidity dial never moved at all: even though the humidity fluctuated between 40 and 75.I don't know if this was "luck of the draw" and I just got a bad one. But I still wouldn't recommend buying this item even with the low price.

Very cheaply made and not giving accurate temp in my hot office but works for what I need. I have coworkers who could care less about how hot we are in an uninsulated part of the office. I use it to monitor when it's too hot. Once the marker goes up 2 ticks from the temp it's showing, I know it's time to turn on the ac.

Hanging in my covered raised beds it’s convenient hanging in center. Can tell from outside the temp and humidity inside. So I can turn my misters on before the sweet potato leaves go limp! Good value. Convenient. Hang or sit.

This is good but it came with a cracked cover!

Starting to wonder after a few weeks if the product is working. I got 2 & both seem to be kinda cheap with the data. Will keep eye on it & Update review if anything changes

These dandy gauges are AWESOME, when using in high humidity lab environments!! Battery powered gauges tend to 'whimp out', if they are used in high humidity environments (80-90+) due to moisture leaking into the battery chamber, and screwing up the process!!These gauges are totally 'solid state', in that they use a solid sensor, that does not rely on any electrical components, and I find are much more reliable, and accurate, when used in these high humidity chambers!I'm sure they would also work just as well in reptile terrariums!
