I’ve been a nurse for 7 years and haven’t needed to do blood draws in any of my jobs until now it’s required. So I bought this in hopes of brushing up my skills and feeling a little more confident in my venipuncture. For that purpose it was not at all helpful. It’s definitely a very entry level book. (Like whole sections about wearing “clean, pressed uniforms”). There was really only one chapter about actual venipuncture and didn’t include anything I don’t already know just from training at work a few days. Also the quiz questions at the end of each chapter are so dumb and mostly not helpful to actually working in healthcare. I returned it.
