Morrisons Espresso Blend Roast & Ground Coffee 227g

I have tried a few different brands and types of ground coffee from other supermarkets, coffee shops, well known brads etc. I keep coming back to this one, not much more I can say.

Using a Delonghi machine I have spent a week making flat whites with oat milk.Overall the water content is high, making the powder more cloggy. I would say that the grain is fine unlike other reviews. I store my grounds in the freezer for long term storage. This reduces the water content and prevents sweating if kept out.Overall the flavours I get are an unsweetened Marzipan with almonds and a slight bitterness which tastes like nutmeg. The aroma is more bitter than the coffee served, with a slight acidity. My coffee has picked up some of its aromas from the packaging and it may be better packed in waxed paper rather than foil.I didn’t get a fruity or sweet taste; which is fine - I prefer earthy. The nutmeg makes this slightly spiced.

Good strong coffee and a super price

I bought this as we totally ran out of coffee grounds and I needed something quick. This is pretty strong stuff, but the taste is nothing special. Forgettable is the word, and for the price they charged on Amazon Fresh it left me feeling kind of unfulfilled. I usually use Dunkin' coffee which has never failed. I don't usually need sugar or milk in my coffee, but with this I needed it just to make it feel like A Drink

Love Morrisson’s coffee and you can’t go wrong for the price

This isn't a bad coffee, specially seen it's a blend. Nice and strong, it did a good job when I needed my morning cup of darkness.
