Read this book whilst on holiday . Found it very hard to put down once I picked the book up . Thank you to Frank for sharing his story .

Quick read,enjoyed it .majority of people haven't got a clue about the Northern Ireland conflict and only by taking time to read both sides equally making sure not to get sucked into mainstream narrative.

I felt this story was all a bit exaggerated and the author glossed over his alleged racist history.

I had looked for this book before but could not find it, so when i saw it on the kindle i eagerly got it, Frank is a great man, Old School British & a man to be looked up to, i am sure in a past life he would have won The Victoria Cross in some desperate battle on the plains of Empire, i found this book easy to read and understand, my only disappointment is that i never stood at his side as a young man, Well Done Sir, A Fantastic Read, that tells the truth. Here I Stand, I Can Do No Other

Found it hard to put the book down, after I started reading. Hopefully Frank will do a follow up soon.

Liked the simplicity of the text. For me , It’s written as if Frank is talking to you in a pub . Telling you his life story.

Well written book gripped from picking book up to finish as franks story un wrapped

Irish Republican terrorism is well documented, but comparatively little info is available about their Loyalist counteraprts. This book is an important look into this little-understood aspect of the history of terrorism in Northern Ireland.

Enjoyed this story of a working class lad . Who grew up in a time of social dived. Mass unemployment. No hope ! Who found fighting on the football terraces and fighting for his political beliefs his calling. Right or wrong . Frank’s a loyal man which is rare in today’s society
