definitely my favorite in the series so far.
Good light hearted book. Love that the characters we have met in previous books are still featured in this one. Very predictable and exactly as you would expect from a book of this type. Same formula of many but still very enjoyable.

Less is NOT More
Best so far.. Glad that you have epilogues. So many are cut off, leaving the reader wanting more. Love happy endings!

A Perfect Love Story
Captain Wales, The Prince of Wales, Xander Wales and Poppy Davies, a bespoke biscuit artist, a girl from Cardiff, Wales, daughter of the owners of a fish and chip shop, fall in love perfectly. To paraphrase Poppy thoughts of their perfect love story "This is fairy tale the world expects of a royal couple - our love story. We're writing it our way, together, as partners. We're straying from the expected plot lines and creating a modern version of the fantasy. We're writing a love story that is uniquely ours. And that is the perfect fairy tale, I think."It contains perfectly developed main characters and secondary characters. There's the evil Queen, the most loving King, Princes and Princesses - known as the squad and others. The sex is not graphic or descriptive but perfectly sensual. The plot is full and the book has the right amount of intrigue and drama. This book has everything that an adult fairytale should have and more. It leaves you wanting more for Xander and Poppy. You know they will have their HEA. Absolutely!!!

love
This is my favorite off this series so far. Still some drama, but I think that is to be expected in a book about modern royals. Xander and Poppy are so great for each other. Definitely worth the read

Oh my heart is happy!
I have come to love this series so much! These books are perfect for anyone who loves a great royal romance! Getting Xander’s story has been exciting especially because he had a lot to overcome and Poppy was the perfect woman for him! They were so cute together and I love how open they were with one another!

Over the moon!
The characters were like some people we read about in the news. But through the eyes of a biscuit artist we see their real lives, and what it takes to be royal. Couldn't put the book down! Can't wait to read more about the squad!

Badly Edited Series
I don't know if I am being too critical, but while I love this series, the thing I don't like about them is that they constantly are inconsistent in important points. In one book the Queen has brown eyes, but in this book, she has blue eyes. In one book, one of the characters attends university in Scotland, now she goes to Oxford. I wouldn't be so nitpicky if these points were not used as important plot points in the book or pointed out specifically by the characters. It just makes the writing feel lazy, and I feel like if as a reader catch these things, I do not see how the author did not know them or at least check them. I just find it frustrating as a reader to find such glaring mistakes. The color of someone's eyes isn't important, but I find the university change as an issue because the author makes a whole point about how this character hides away at university, and the next book is going to involve how she hides away at university. If she wants to hide, it would make more sense for her to be in Scotland than Oxford. Why the change? If these books are a series, there shouldn't be such changes with no explanation.

Magical!
Aven has struck gold with Royal Icing! Poppy is intelligent, independent, and a woman who—when she commits—loves deeply. Xander, despite his philandering reputation, is a man with substance, one who wants to make a difference in the lives of the people who will become his subjects when he is crowned King of England. These two have sizzling chemistry but it goes beyond the physical. They are two hearts who meet and love completely, making you believe in the idea of soulmates. Sacrifices have to be made. Problems need to be ironed out. In the end, though, this magic couple stands tall. Together.

Fun but with irritating errors
Nice light reading but I get very irritated by the errors, some inconsistencies like where one character goes to university. Several places in series where the king or queen is addressed as Your Royal Highness instead of Your Majesty. Xander is Prince of Wales so the income from the Duchy of Cornwall is his not the king’s. Christian would not be Christian of Wales as he is not the son of the Prince of Wales. I also find it hard to believe that a baker could afford Sloane Square without a private income.
