Only one I'll be buying
Short version: Could be marginally better, but still the only chalk bag that meets my needs and does so very well. This is the only chalk bag I've found that has both a strap for going around your waist and two pockets that can collectively hold keys (Smaller one) and wallet and/or phone (larger one). I haven't been able to find another one so short of making one myself this is may be the only one I ever buy.Caveats:1) Depending on wallet and phone sizes, you may have trouble (and/or zipper breakage) getting both of them into the big pocket. There are plenty of ways around this, and cramming that much stuff inside probably exceeds the intended capacity regardless.2) The cap on the orange cord can come off and wind up ruining the closure mechanism. This is preventable by just tying the cord into a knot before use.

Great chalk bag for the price! Very handy features.
I purchased this chalk bag because I wanted one with a large enough zipper pocket to fit my iPhone XR with a bulky case on it.My iPhone XR and case fits perfectly in the larger zipper pocket with some room to spare. The additional zipping smaller pocket in the front is a great place to store my car keys and ID.I have very large hands and have no problem fitting them into the bag. This chalk bag is pretty deep and just wide enough. This chalk bag may not be as high of quality compared to more expensive big name brand ones, but for the type of climbing that I do (mostly gym) it has held up very well so far. As long as your not doing crazy walls like El Cap, this chalk bag should suite you very well. You can’t beat the price too!Additional note: The chalk bag comes with a simple buckle waist belt. I opted to attach a #3 Nite Ize S-Biner to it to clip on my harness haul loop and it works perfectly!

Chalk bags used for camera lenses. Fastener pops off on ONLY THIS BRAND bag.
It is a nice quality bag, HOWEVER, it is the only chalk bag that loses the fastener connection right away. I purchased two defferent times and it happened again. I have collected several chalk bags in over 10 years and this problem never occurs on over 7 other brand names.Other than that, it is a very well made bag.

Useless after four or times days of use.
After about four times using it, the friction on the drawstring had increased so much that to make the opening, I had to wiggle the drawstring and opening with two hands. Takes forever now. By the fifth day of use, the large zipper (meant for cell phones) got jammed, so much so that the zipper handle broke off! I only used it three or four times. I'm going to be looking for a better brand now.

Great cheap chalk bag
I've had this chalk bag since summer of 2018, and there is absolutely nothing I don't like about it. It's just... a chalk bag. It's held up to countless outdoor rock climbing/camping trips, hours of gym time, being fallen on, dropped 100 feet, and stuffed into bags, boxes, and Tupperwares. The drawstring gets a little more difficult to open over time, but not too much so, and I imagine that any kind of bag with a drawstring subjected to such use would have the same issue eventually. The zippers have held up perfectly. I store my liquid chalk or my phone in the handy pockets. It has a belt for attaching it around your waist, and the belt is detachable for when you just want to drop the bag on the floor at the climbing gym.100% recommend. Definitely get this bag, because it lasts and it's a great price.

Chalk it up to being cheap.
This bag isn't even OK.The opening to the bag is extremely difficult to, well, open. The string is seemingly stuck most of the time. If I weren't a rock climber, I wouldn't have the grip strength necessary to open it most of the time. I guess it's a good warm up.The metal ring which is meant to guide the pull string fell out almost instantly. The bag leaks chalk through the seems. So anything you put into the pockets attached to it gets really chalky.

Looks sharp and is a good size for ninja competition training.
Fantastic. My son uses this for his ninja warrior competition training. I’ll say first that coming in, I knew nearly zero about these bags, but this particular chalk bag is far and away the favorite of the gym.Plenty of volume to hold a good amount of chalk. I don’t know if it’s a ninja thing or what, but in training the guys seem to go through quite a bit of it. Having a bag large enough to hold a sufficient amount of chalk but not so big that it’s like having a Hefty bag with you is a fine line, maybe, but this bag is appropriately sized.Made of very sturdy material, easy to carry around (means it’s not more trouble than it’s worth to carry it around) and thought this shouldn’t matter...it looks sharp.A very good bag.

Great Bag for the Price!
I am a college student who recently got into the world of climbing. I bought this chalk bag so I wouldn't have to keep borrowing from my friends. So far in the several months that I have had this bag, I have used it a lot and there seem to be no signs of tearing or anything like that. It closes really well and doesn't leak chalk all over my climbing bag plus it is a really good price! My only complaint is that the opening is not as wide as I thought it would be so getting my hands in and out without making a mess is a little difficult. The belt is relatively easy to adjust but fits around my hips just fine!If you are looking for a cheap first chalk bag I would highly reccomend it. But if you have larger hands I would recommend you look for a wider bag.
