OsterTopaz Clipper with Adjustable Cryonyx Blade System

i received this clipper packaged with the upmost care in mind which i really appreciate and as far as the topaz it’s just a black fast feed, awesome machine.super quiet noise, very ergonomic design, and runs warm even cooler with andis coarse cutter blade which also zero gaps it.

The media could not be loaded. Upon receiving the Oster Topaz, the factory blade would not move in the open position but after installing the ceramic blade, these Oster's HIT! Stays cool, zero gapped and conforms to the hand real well. Might have to make minor adjustments to the clipper out the box but other than that, I LOVE THEM!

Box was beat up but machine works, and was worried at first that it would be a Fast Feed instead of a Topaz because of the Photo, but it was what it said it was

There are 3 top tier clippers in the game. I'm sorry 4 now with the babyliss line. There is Wahl (Senior) Andis (Master) and this beautiful machine Oster (Topaz). I won't get into specifics. All I will say is that as an experienced barber. Seasoned at that. If you replace this clippers bottom (cutting) blade with an Andis ceramic (coarse cutter) blade, it will then grant you a zero gapped Clipper ready for fades. Trust me when I tell you this is Gold. All you have to do is master the use of this clipper with the Andis guards (double magnetic) 1-4 that's all you been. Unfortunately the guards this clipper comes with are trash. But that's another story. You don't have to take my word for it. But just know it's all you need for fading and if you learn how to use it right. It will save you having to replace blades every month or so (if you're a busy barber) like with the Andis Master or wahl senior. This blade with the ceramic blade I mentioned earlier will give you at least a year worth of cutting before you have to replace blades. Assuming you clean and disinfect as well as clean it with compressed air (optional for between the bkades) but yes it's 5/5 stars I perfect score and we'll deserved.

I've been cutting hair (at home) for 15+ years and have tried about every brand. Quality seems to be a real issue the days and I just sent back a different brand because they pulled and skipped... so I was pleasantly surprised when these cut smooth and consistent and made a nice fade. The guards slide into place and aren't too flimsy. However, it only came with four, but that's ok for what I need. Can't speak to longevity, but I doubt you'll be disappointed with these.

Love these clippers. Easy to use and definitely good with fades. Glad I purchased these.

Not as quiet as expected. Louder than my fast feeds that I've had for 2 years and does not cut as good or close. Went back to my fast feeds these are now a back up..

When you have a good quality hair clipper, you REALLY don't want to go down in quality. These are QUALITY clippers. We bought another, and had to return it, it worked so poorly, and then we bought this. Works GREAT.

Shipping was fast despite it was international. I use this clipper on a regular basis and I like the fact that the adjustable blade are from 000 to 001. Quiet pivot motor but cut like knife in butter. Worth the price :)
