Good NES Compatible Handheld
For someone growing up in the NES era, this is a nice handheld NES compatible console in a GameBoy format. The games are mostly in English with some bootlegs in Japanese or Chinese. The menu and buttons are intuitive and there is a reset button to get back to the main menu. There are really about 150-200 games on uniqueness and the others are basically sprite or gameplay modifications. There is no save battery in the firmware, so no long games like Zelda or RPGs can be played, only password system games. The one downside is that this console uses Touch Game Player roms, which some of them are known to be unplayable due to the porting. The battery life is about 4.5 hours on a charge playing continuously. The controller and the charger use a mini (not micro) USB and the console takes about six hours to charge. If you are serious about gaming, you may want to look elsewhere as the console comes as is. There is no easy way to get at the ROM chip for modification. If you just want an out-of-the-box no fuss experience with some nostalgic games that are not save dependent, this is your console.

Small portable and fun arcade games.
Not bad. I like it as an adult. Old school games. Very portable and easy to use and bring back memories playing in the arcades.

Get what you pay for
This is a throw away item.....Bought two of these for my grandsons for Christmas. Both in the garbage already and they weren't even used that much! Probably lasted a total of 3-4 hours before the screens stopped working. If you don't mind tossing money in the trash then this is for you. If you want something that will last at least a few months this isn't it. JUNK!

The games are legit
I don’t think all 400 games are unique or good but the ones I have tried are faithful to the originals. It’s full color and feels like an old skewl game boy. I didn’t try with the controller or plugged into a tv yet. The tv plug requires an rca component input, my tv only has hdmi. The games are fun, graphics are what they are and the sound is loud enough. I only took off a star because I had trouble getting the battery to sit right in the back. It kept turning off when I would shake it until I figured out the battery has little clips that have to sit under these tabs. That could have been clearer. It’s neat that it’s rechargeable instead of replacing batteries like the old ones.

Cheap but fun
First off, this thing is not licensed by Nintendo. Call it what you will, bootleg, pirated, copyright infringement, etc. Whatever the case, I believe it is the theft of intellectual property and is probably an illegal product. I would never purchase it or support it do to this. I received this free as a Vine reviewer and did not pay for it in any way. This thing has a lot of great old games on it. I was overwhelmed with nostaligia when I turned it on and saw all of my old favorites. These games are mostly old Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) games. I expected it to be full of old Game Boy games. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they were old NES games instead. That being said, most of these are kind of difficult to play on a game boy sized screen. Luckily for me, it comes with a cable to hook it to the tv. Unluckily for me, the cable is one of those old white, red, yellow RCA cords that modern tv's don't have anymore. If you have an old picture tube tv or a really old LCD you will be fine, but I don't have one. I ran it through my home theater receiver. It looks a bit strange on my 75 inch Samsung Q90T, but it just takes some getting used to I guess. I really need to go to some garage sales and find a little 13" or 19" picture tube tv to get the full authentic experience this machine provides. The controller looks similar to what you would get if you had an original NES controller and used the color scheme of a Sega Master System (SMS) controller. It also has to extra action buttons, giving it 4 as opposed to 2 that were on the original NES controller. This thing is fun, but it feels like the cheapest piece of junk. The quality is comprable to an old plasticc toy you would get in a cereal box in 1985. Okay, maybe not that bad, but it really is cheap. I recommend using this as a console as opposed to a hand held. You just aren't going to have a good experience playing 1942 on the device itself. You won't be able to see enough. Plug this thing into a tv and you are going to have a great time. Fire up Contra and put the 30 man code in. It works! I assume all the old codes work if you remember them. A simple internet search will likely aid you if you don't. So far, I am having a blast with this. I feel bad about that, seeing as how it is an unlicensed bootleg product, but I would be lying if I said it was not fun. I wish I had one (an official one) with old Sega Master System (SMS) games too. You see things like this with Sega Genesis games on it all the time, but SMS seems to be lost and it really was an amazing game console. NES was the king of that time of course, and I love these games, but SMS was superior and I wish it would find its way to one of these crappy plug and play devices so I could waste even more of my time. Overall, I have to give this a 2 just because of the quality, but I cannot stress enough how fun this thing is. I just wish it was a bit sturdier, and not a copyright theft. I also feel like it is going to break or fizzle out at any moment. That being said, $13.98 is not that big of a loss if it does break.....
