Great flavor but take note of freshness date printed on the product.
I purchased this through Amazon Warehouse Deals. I bought two boxes for my mother. For $10 a package it was an excellent price. I understand these were returns to Amazon but it didn't look like it. It was in brand new unopened condition. I normally would give 5 stars except for one thing. The "best by" date listed July 30, 2012. I got it May 31, 2012. If it was 6 months I probably wouldn't worry but two months is a problem. So I dropped it to 3 stars. The price and the fact I still have two months saves it. I guess I will have to help my mom finish these off. Luckily they are pretty good. I may buy again from the seller since the price is good. Wish the "best by" could have been listed before I ordered.UPDATE (July 13, 2012) Bought again through Amazon but from another seller, ezee llc (lindasproperties), for $17.10 per 24 pack. That was way more than my original order but my mom wanted more. Seeing it was close to the MSRP of $19.99, I was expecting to receive a product that had a better "best by" date. No, this time it was worse. The "best by" date is August 17, 2012. I have little over a month to go. Granted my mom will probably finish it within that time frame but this is unacceptable. I'm dropping the product rating to two stars due to unsatisfactory experiences with two different sellers. I should get at lest six months.UPDATE (October 24, 2012) I guess my mom goes through this quite quickly. I purchased through a seller on eBay for $17.95 per 24 pack on September 10, 2012. This time around I got a package that was well more than a year out for the "best by" date. So I guess I know now that this product actually has a good shelf life if purchased from a proper seller. I realize my star rating is harsh since it focuses on the seller not the product. The taste and flavor is excellent and I have definitely purchased and drank this multiple times when I am at my parents. I am going to bump the review to 5 out of 5 because the product itself is not at fault. Just buy it from a good seller.

Run it through twice and you'll enjoy it more.
This is good cider, but we have found it takes running it through the Keureg machine twice is the best way to make it. It's a bit weak flavored if you just run it through one time on the normal setting for a 6 oz cup. So, when we make it, we run it through the cycle for 4oz on strong, then let it rest a second and run it through 4oz with the same cup again also set on the strong setting, and it's about perfect. The flavor is good, similar to the Alpine flavored stuff we have bought in packets in a box in the grocery store. It smells heavenly in your cup, if you like cider. (I do. It's a fav around here in the colder months.) This one is not overly sweet - just perfect, really. (Some can be too sugary, and this one I don't feel like it is.) We have found that running it through on the regular setting, just doesn't give you much stronger flavor than weak tea...but running it through that second time does seem to get you the results you want. I will be buying it again...we go through cider and cocoa a lot during the year, but especially in the colder months.

A nice winter warm-up
I purchased these as a change-up to our inventory of teas, coffees and cocoas my wife and I drink during the cold winter months.I've read other reviews regarding price. Although I won't include price into my rating, I will say that an item is only worth whatever someone will pay for it. As for these, I waited until Amazon had a sale and pulled the trigger. I got them for around $.75/k-cup.As for the cider k-cups themselves, I am pleased with them overall. As with some of the cocoa k-cups, the larger setting on the Keurig machine produces a more watery result but this doesn't seem to affect the hot cider flavor as much as it does the hot cocoa.Flavor-wise, I'd compare the largest setting flavor to a green tea. Light and not overpowering, but the flavor is there. With the smaller Keurig settings, the cider has a more robust flavor and is perfect for being creative and mixing in other things. My personal favorite is a dash of cinnamon and a dribble of Irish wiskey.I'm giving this 4 stars because I think that these K-cup makers should be able to produce a K-cup that creates a consistent product at the larger Keurig settings, but I can't knock it too much because the lighter, more diluted tasing cider can be very enjoyable at times too.

Very tasty-but late shipment
I like this product because it has the touch of tartness you'd expect from apple cider. It doesn't overpower you with cloying sweetness. I do want to try one or two of the other brands at some point just as a point of comparison, but this would be hard to beat.I noticed a couple of other reviewers said that the Amazon price was much higher than direct from vendor. Someone claimed to have paid 1.68 per cup. Well, I got two dozen from Amazon at .69 per cup, which is about three or four cents less than what it runs at my local supermarket, so mileage on price seems to vary greatly. I'd never have bought it at 1.68.My only complaint was that it took over two weeks for my order to arrive, even though I'm a Prime member. I received two separate e-mails telling me my order had been delayed and then delayed again, but no explanation why. I would guess they were out of stock for a while and its possible that future orders would arrive in a more timely fashion. The shipping delay (without an explanation) is the reason I give it four stars instead of five. The product itself is yummy.
