Not by David Ragsdale
The Bridge is not an album by David Ragsdale. There's not even any violin playing on it. What an amazing coincidence that this is the same label that once had the rights to David and Goliath which IS by David Ragsdale. Take my word for it. I should know.David Ragsdale

David Ragsdale - An Overlooked Instrumental Gem From The Late 90's
I am not sure what the deal is with the title. I have the original "David And Goliath" release, but apparently the album has been re-released as "The Bridge"? Not sure.....To me this is one of the great overlooked instrumental albums of the late 90's. Most people will know David Ragsdale from his work with Kansas. The guy can play just about anything. His main instrument is electric violin, but can also play a mean guitar and is no slouch on keys. This is his one and only solo album so far, and it is a good one. From the opening rocker "Bach Stabber" to the mellow closer "Stu's Lament" this album is packed full of great rock, some fusion, and a bit of classical. Being a classically trained violinist Ragsdale incorporates many classical elements into the music here, but having played rock n roll for the better part of 15 years he also knows when to kick it into high gear. Fans of Kansas will undoubtedly get a lot of enjoyment out of this album, as much of it sounds similar to instrumental Kansas, but this is an album that should appeal to more adventurous fans of instrumental progressive rock as well. For me this album hits on all cylinders and I highly recommend it.
