A decent snall sub. Do not expect massive bass but it does the job

JBL are well known for their audio equipment, this is no exeption. perfect for placement under the seats and very powerful. pair this with an amp under the other seat to drive the x4 door speakers and x4 tweeters and you have an awesome setup.

I can't find anywhere online that states anything than the rms value, but the peak is 250watt. It is surprising powerful and strong deep bass. In the boot of my Corsa D, its is quite powerful you can feel it in the seats, under the seat it feel like having a ported subwoofer of like 400 watt its really quite an impressive unit.

Good sound for the cost. I have gone through 3 subwoofers and this one, so far is the best by far.

Size, quality and performance, all up there and good value.

Not what I was expecting from JBL. If you’re seeking a high quality bass sound this isn’t your choice .

The JBL BassPro SL2 is described as an underseat subwoofer. However, I have mine installed in the boot of my Audi A4 Avant and the JBL works just fine. It provides a depth of bass way above what I expected. It’s not a chest pumping, vehicle shaking monster. But it is more of an accomplished performer adding the right amount of bass to underpin the music. It goes deep enough on tracks such as London Grammar Hey now. It’s fast enough to keep up with double kick drums from Slayer yet subtle enough to add depth to acoustic songs.It was east to install after I’d ran a a cable form a door speaker. The bass remote comes in use too if the bass is too powerful or not strong enough.The JBL BassPro SL2 offers super value for money, was easy to install and performs way above its price point. Highly recommended
