Replacement for the original. Installed easily by a plumber. Worked perfectly.

Using this on a dedicated return line for domestic hot water recirculation. I have used Grundfos pumps before and have had no issues. They seem to last forever. This is just a plain pump with no controls or timers. I used a countdown timer so as to not have it running too much. It gets the hot water there in 30 seconds. It saves so much water, as I used to run the faucet for about a minute or more to get the hot water. Good pump at a good price.

I recently replaced my 18-year-old water heater, along with the 18-year-old Grundfos circulation pump that was starting to make winding noises off and on. I replaced it with the "same" updated 2024-year Grundfos model. This pump is used to continually circulate hot water 24 hours a day in my house, which provides me with instant hot water everywhere I need it. Although the Grundfos brand is expensive, it is definitely worth the premium price as you get many years of trouble-free service. It runs smoothly just like smooth jazz music.

Almost 5 stars. It gets air locked easily but if you're a good plumber and add in a purge valve, it's not a complete problem. I needed to pull from the opposite side of a 4300 square ft house where another water heater was removed to combine all to a single 80gallon with a recirc loop.

How can one argue that Gundfos isn’t one of the best pumps available. Replaced pump after 18 years with identical pump since I was repairing a leak in supply line. Grundfos pump is quiet and lasts forever! Easy to sweat new pump into copper water lines.

It was too damaged to install. Too bad; it was a good price. Bought a replacement for more through a plumber, but I didn't want to wait another 10 days for delivery after return.

This is not a cheap pump in any way. It is solidly built with a good company reputation and this pump usually operates continuously for years on end.My install was a direct replacement for my old Grundfos circulation pump which had lasted for 21 years.Yes, you can buy much cheaper pumps but why !?!

The purchase replaced an identical unit installed +/- 17 years ago (one that was still operational). Getting a new water heater in the garage gave cause to inspect the old unit, and we discovered the impeller in the old unit was damaged when installed (heat from solder). We get a bit of hum on the interior wall adjoining garage and the unit is off the wall, so clearly harmonics travel along the copper into the wall. Not a nuisance, just something we notice when things are otherwise quiet. We continue to get hot water in seconds at back of the house, so not only does it do the job, but we expect to get many years of service based on durability of the last unit.
