Buyer beware ... these are hobby parts.When I can take the largest piece, for 1/0 wire, and squeeze it with my fingers, there's a problem. They are too short to make a proper splice and you have to solder the connection because the material is so damn thin. My hydraulic crimper actually tore the material. Just plain ripped it apart.There are products sold by Amazon that will work just fine for real-world or even commercial operations ... but these are not them.

I purchased this item in order to fix a problem I was having with stranded number 6 gauge wire that I was using to install a RV surge suppressor in my 50 amp electrical circuit. Every time I tried to just screw down the connector to the stranded wire they would not hold well. This did help but only with modification. What I did was used a crimper for CAT5 wire and made it into a square which I had to use some vice grips to completely shape it, but they hold very securely now. I've used it for other connectors as well now. At first I thought they were flimsy and cheap but that's actually was a good thing when trying to shape it. So depending on your application this may or may not work for you. But they worked for me solve my issue

I needed specific sizes for my wiring in my truck as well as a relatives truck. The sizes provided in the kit were way to small. The funny thing is, the pictures on the box of each size fitting were exactly right. Lol. Ok so the sizes i was supposed to receive in this kit were 8, 6, 4, and 2 gauge or awg. However its dissapointing when the largest ferrule may or may not fit a 6 awg wire. I do still think this was an ok purchase as i will have a handy container after ive used these. Quality is good but sizes are waaay off. If sizes were correct it would have been a 5 star review. Now i have to hope the next ones i order are actuall size. I dislike ordering a second time for something that should have been correct in the first place. But as far as amazons sevice on delivery.....spot on as always

I use this to put ferrule ends on my wiring in my solar arrays. This keeps all of the wires contained and makes for a much better connection when running wires into termination points. Buy the correct size crimper that is made for ferrule ends to make a nice clean termination.

Great kit to have on hand, lots of sizes one kit.

These are not what I thought they were. I still think the metal is to thin, but they might still do the job.

Just dry fitted for now. Bought for future projects. Looks like it will do what I need it to.

nice when propert tool used.would recommend using them with crimper for esthetics
